Rome Agent Snowboard

The Rome Agent Snowboard gives you the pop and control to get crazy creative in the park and all over the mountain. Rome’s Reverse-V carbon stringer at the tail gives you the power to ollie over that SLOW sign, while Impact edges won’t blow up when you jib fallen trees and bonk off stumps. The lightweight Superpop Core Matrix core has a StraightTriax 30 carbon laminate for a soft and smooth flex without feeling spineless when you need to pop off a hit.

  • Carbon Reverse-V Stringer for powerful ollie and nollie response
  • SinterSpeed base for easy maintenance and gap-clearing speed
  • LDC Technology places low-density woods in low-stress areas to reduce weight
  • Impact Edges for durability
  • Park Bevel for catch-free control off jumps without losing edge-to-edge response
  • Almost Twin shape for switch landings

Bottom Line: Trust the Agent.

this board rips. P.E.R.I.O.D. float a back 1 off a roller, bonk a tree, back lip that kink, then hit the fattest kicker you can find. if you think your up for it, the agent is down with it.

This beauty is a) 2 years old and b) the best board i have ever owned and c) slap some 390's on this baby and she rips. Being 2 years old, it needs replacing, and i imagine i'll probably run the same set up
edit- i got the slash this year

PRETTY DEASENT

It's a really great board. The board feels good switch and has a REAllY low spin rate, you can 270 on or off with ease. Its kinda a stiffer board than most freestyle but I guess that's why it has such great pop. The edge control on this this is pro, and it just feels natural under u. Over all pretty please with this board. BUT if you want best of best look up SKATE BANANA-http://www.dogfunk.com/snowboard/Lib-Technologies-Skate-Banana-BTX-Snowboard-Assorted-Bananas/LBT0095M.html

that really depends on your definition of MUCH. i wouldnt say they have really bumped up their weight, but definately their durability. especially the 2009-10 agents are pretty stacked with some new tech you can check on their site. the stiffness is perfect if you want to be someone that can slay anything from powder to rails. if all you are doing during the day is rails then dont get the agent. but if you want to hit and shralp some pow in the morning, hit an 80 ft kicker for lunch and eat you dinner hiking some rails you really cant beat the agent. (thats all i did last season and i have no complaints whatsoever.) the stiffness increas would only add more pop, stability and stompability for the big jumps...while not taking much away from rails...

is the new model agent similar to the 09 models?
in sense of flex and weight of the board, i used to love the 07 agent model but after 07 model seems like they gotten much stiffer and heavier.

this is bogus man. learn something about snowboarding. the skate banana doesnt even compare to the agent. its a cheater board for "parky" kids who think that they are good at snowboarding because they can do a nose press on a box 2 feet high because the banana cant pop them onto anything higher....bottom line the agent is the best all around board on the market right now...period. the biggest jumps, deepest powder, biggest rails. if you are up to it the agent will be there letting you slay the whole time.
