Rome Means Pant - Men's - 2008

If the end you want to reach is a sick ride in total comfort, than start your day with the Rome Men’s Means Pant. The DryTac 20 fabric keeps you from getting soaked to the bone during a powder day, and Rome added vents on both the inside and outside of the legs to let the air flow through and keep you cool during warm days. Several pockets give you room to stash extra gloves and snacks in these Rome pants, so you don’t have to stop at the lodge and miss out on the powder.

Bottom Line: The end justifies the Means.

Love these pants. They are as described on the website, a relaxed articulated fit. If you don't like your pants super baggy but don't want to (or in my case, having big thighs, can't) fit into slim fitting style, these could be the pants for you. The pants look pretty true to the product picture displayed. The length is quite short, but it works for me, people with long legs may find it too short. The pockets are great, having both zip and velcro flaps. I felt perfectly comfortable and dry the whole time wearing these.

It has a membrane like Gore-Tex, Entrant, eVent but it's called DryTac, not sure if that's proprietary for Rome or what but it translates into 20k/20k waterproof/breathability.

Probably my favorite feature of these pants is the crotch vent that opens wide. It zips from one knee to the next to completely air it out.
