The DJ-style Skullcandy Ti Headphones take the high-end response and monster bass you want from your tunes and pack them into a head-turning luxury chassis. The Ti's leather-lined band, 90-degree swivel earphones and soft leather-touch earpads take your travel experience from coach to first-class, while the 40mm neodymium drivers knock you to the floor with eardrum-crushing authority. Aluminum braiding toughens up the single cord, and Skullcandy included a travel bag for protection when they aren’t on your head. A home stereo adapter lets you enjoy true hi-fi home system sound without waking the neighbors.
Bottom Line: Live your life, chase the good sounds.
Look, for over the head earphones these work well. Blocks out most outside noise while keeping music inside. I would have to blast it loud for someone next to me to hear. But, 2 annoyances: 1) If you're looking for ANY sort of bass, don't get these, I repeat, stay away. You won't get it here. 2) It comes with a standard jack, attached to one of those big 1/4" jacks, which I did not know. The problem being that when you unplug the 1/4" jack, what remains is a cord of maybe one foot. I need to now buy an extender to make it work for me.
i got g.i's and think they might break.i want to get back up headphones just in case.im thinking hesh but does anyone think i should get a different type of skullcandy headphone.im set on skullcandys.
I got the Pink Fur TI headphones and have loved every second of wearing them. I get compliments on them all the time, they are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. The biggest advantage I've noticed these have over others I've tried is they NEVER get my hair caught in them.

Can anyone actually comment on these that didn't just buy them out of the box? I mean honestly. i have owned these headphones and blew them out in 3 months. I too was like "These are so sick and the sound is so awesome and i dont know anything about real headphones except that these are expensive and look cool so they have to be great" I bet most of these 5 star comments are people that jsut opened the package less then a month... na less then a week after they bought them. I know some people get lucky and have a good time with skullcandy headphoens but i find that sooooooo rare with people that actually listen to music as a way of life. I listen to music everyday for 4 hours at a min. and on a snowboarding day probably 10 hours.
Hey Kylie, I have had my Tis for a good six months or so now, and I haven't given mine the chance to blow out. The sound quality is nice, and i have yet to break them, but the volume just doesn't get loud enough for me, I find myself wishing for more. Needless to say, I moved on from the Tis and am currently rocking a pair of skullcandy's Hesh headphones, and the sound is much louder, and the bass gives way more thump without losing quality. I too spend a lot of time listening to music, especially while i sleep, and have a huge problem with breaking headphones-usually by ruining the cable in some way or another-but my Heshs have been holding up perfectly fine. I would not recomend the Tis to someone unless they cared more about looks than music quality. Oh, I have had my Heshs for almost four months or so I would say, I didn't even give the Tis three months.
go for some wesc headphones. alot better. ive experienced the same thing with my skull candys and now i have some rad wesc headphones and they have yet to let me down after a year
So my question is... can someone that has owned these for over atleast 3 months comment on them and give a little light to the people actually looking for quality headphones that don't blowout or break after 3 months of actually not 30 min a day but 3 or more hours a day of listening? Or am i seriously the only person ever to have a crappy experience with EVERY Skullcandy headphones i have own? and trust me i have owned all of skull candy product but the agents and double agents
these are probably up there on the list of coolest things you can put on ur head...that aside they basically suck...highs are tinny, bass is non-existant, and when you want to rock out you can Krank the volume to about 6, yeah they arent very loud...especially runing off an tiny ipod battery, the earpads are not very thick and become unfomfortable after about an hour, also the design of the hinge makes them imposible to be worn around the neck...good points, awesome looks, fit nice, very stable and tight (definitly tight enough for boarding), and the volume control is flawless, total range of control from silence to as loud as the headphones can go (something i have not found before, especially not in smokin buds)...sooooooo the sound can be compaired to the heaphones that come with your iPod, and for half the price you can get the lowriders which have more bass, same driver size, and are twice as loud, but these do look sick
Sick of people whining about lack of bass and sound quality without realising thats its the source (Ipod, mp3 player) that delivers the power. Do yourselves a favour and get a Fiio e3 or e5 and then those cans will show what they can really do
i also think aerial7 headphones are nice and want a pair of choppers but i have the skullcandy g.i's and it sounds great on my ipod touch and ipod nano.you have to fool around with the noice adjustment and get it the way you like it and then youll actually fall in love with these headphones.
dont get either man skullcandy is overated. Seriously... people like them cause they think they are underground which they arent anymore btw. and they buy them cause they look cool. QUALITY OVER STYLE PEOPLE... Suffering for fashion is one thing i agree with but not when it comes to headphones. I HIGHLY suggest checking out the Aerial7 tank headphones. Same price with a 57 mm driver for even more bass than these... 40 mm standard "going to blow out after 3 months of use" headphones. And i personally think the aerial7s look steezy as hell.
These things are outta this world! Ride with these on, and you got the best steez on the whole mountain. I got the White Fur ones and I was a little worried cuz Im a dude and they had fur, but when I opened them that definitely changed! They are sick! and loud as hell too with bumpin bass. Order em, you wont regret it
I know what you mean, you don't see too many kids on the mountain with larger headphones. I don't ride park at all, I'm all about crushing powder, but I have these and the Icons, and i couldn't even imagine riding with these, they are not light at all, but they are for sure the cleanest looking headphones I've ever own. I wear my Icons for boarding, and rarely for anything else, just because my ears don't get along with the amount of direct pressure they put on me-but one I get a beanie between them and my ears, I am golden for a couple hours.
no to troll but you seriously ride with these? do you ride park or all mountain? do you spin n get inverted in the park if you do ride there? cause headphones these big tend to throw most people (including me) off when doing bigger tricks. thats y when you see pros, they are usually wearing smaller headphones that are basically weightless (Skullcandy icons are most famous). i mean you can ride with any headphones but thats not the point of these... i dunno sry to troll i just find it odd when you see people that ride with such large headphones
They are pretty comfortable for me. The pads are not that thick, but they are wide enough that they are not smashing my ears so they don't get sore after a while. I can wear these way longer than ear buds.
Erika - just like anything else it just takes some getting used to and stretching of the headphones before the fit to wear in. give it some time to fit to your heat, and before you know it you will be in twitterphoria with your new TIs.
These phones look cool, but the sound is not as good as it should be. I think they are plenty loud but there is absolutely no bass. Crystal clear otherwise, but I think they need a little more boost on the lows. They are also a little heavy, even for media type headphones.
These are probably one of the best headphones i have worn. The sound quality/clarity is very good. The noise cancellation they give even with no music playing is pretty good, considering they aren't noise canceling headphones. This is a very good buy, especially with the awesome manufacturing warranty.
Hey Monica - We wont be getting any more of the pink ones in ... but we do have the pink with fur, if you're into that!
BUT Skullcandy is releasing its new exclusive dB line which Dogfunk will be carrying ... SO STAY TUNED TO DOGFUNK for new colors from Skullcandy in the VERY NEAR FUTURE!!!!
The SkullCandy Ti Stereo Headphones are very solid over-ear headphones that don't make you look like a total beater while wearing them in the office or on the bus. These headphones aren't just about looks though - the Ti Stereo headphones can handle any sort of music you pump through them at any volume with relative ease. I wear these in the office and they're great - they also are great noise-reducers when you wear them without music playing. I haven't found a pair of headphones that give more bang for the buck than the Ti Stereo headphones.
I bought these in brown and gold and i cant stop wearing them everywhere i go, the sound is crisp, the price is great, i even wear them at work to drown out the buzz of my co-workers!
no none are really waterproof, read countless reviews of people saying they left em in the snow for hours or fished em out of a toilet and they still worked. but thats more of a durability thing...they can handle some accidental water exosure, but they are NOT waterproof
these are some sweet headphones. great for listening to music in your room or tuning out annoying teachers in class. turn it up and chill out. no sound gets past these.
I bought these about 2 weeks ago, and boy, do I love them! They are really, really comfortable, they have excellent sound quality, and they are also dang stylish. On top of that, Skullcandy has one of the best warranties for headphones that I have ever seen. They know their product is good. These will surely survive the test of time.
I have had the black fur for over a year and they haven't broken on me yet. The sound quality is off the charts, and when i put them on, i cant hear a thing. I highly recommend these headphones!
I dont even know where to start with these beasts, sound = Crazy Good, On head comfortability levels= 10 out of five, Looks = Awsome Overall= GoodAwsomeCrazyComfy...XD
At first, they didn't sound the best and didn't have the greatest bass, but after about three hours (of listening to them) they sounded so much better and are definitely worth the money. Now that they have been broken in, the bass sounds awesome and the sound quality is just as good. If you are thinking about getting these, STOP THINKING AND BUY THEM ALREADY!
One listen and you will be taking Skullcandy Ti Stereo Headphones everywhere you go! These headphones are wicked comfortable, not too heavy, and the sound is unbeatable!
had these headphones for awhile had them for 3 weeks then the left side didnt work for some reason. return them b/c of the return policy got another one had them for 6months didnt break on me yet. sound is great you lookin for bass this got it.
