The Special Blend Men's Ninety Five Jacket gives you a warm waterproof option to battle winter's worst. Special Blend gave this puffy jacket flex gussets and articulated elbows so you can move like a ninja. Critically taped seams stop water from creeping in, and the powder skirt snaps to Special Blend pants for impenetrable protection. The Ninety Five Jacket's feathery filling ensures you'll stay warm whether you strap in on the highest peak or wreak havoc around the city. If you get too toasty, unzip the pit vents and chill.
Bottom Line: Down warmth to blow away winter's wrath.
I usually wear XL on the mountain and L in the streets. Got this in XL and it's somewhere in between. I'm amazed of how lightweight it is while still being warm and articulated.
The white one has some nice print details not showing in the image and a Azure Blue liner which is dope. The hood sports a little press-button to snap it in place so it wont flap everywhere while doing 80 mph towards the lip.
Bottom line: Lightweight and warm. I recon I will love this jacket when the temp drops below -15C.
Super warm. You can ride in below freezing temps in just a base layer.
Technically, the coat is solid with all the SB goodies--Pass holder, Pit zips, pow skirt, tons fo pockets etc...
The cut and styling of the coat allow it to also be worn around the city in winter..
I have this coat in both Black and White from 08 and 09. Both have held up well and look brand new. Best friend has an 07 and he still rocks it as his main coat.
Write your question here...I am wondering what size would be good for me. I am 6'2 and weigh192lbs. Also I was wondering what the colors in the tan and blue stripped jacket are like. Are they true blue?
it is a sick jacket.. but the only thing about color that u have to worry about is that it might be a little darker or lighter when u get it... still would be a gnarly jacket none the less!
I didn't even cut off the tags. That means, I haven't used it yet.
This is what I can tell you about it: It's a lot more brighter color than appears off the net. The MP3 player pocket inside is a lot closer to the chest compared to the older generation 4sq and SB jackets. It's definitely puffy. Fits true to size.
This jacket gets a 5 rating because it was a great deal from Dogfunk,...not because of the performance, that has yet to be proven.

I bought this jacket to wear riding when it is below 20 degrees or to just wear around town. It looks super dope and fits fairly baggy but not super baggy. My first time wearing it I was completely surprised how I felt no wind at all and was pretty hot just wearing a base layer underneath. I love it but would not recommend it when hiking or in mild conditions, the water just beads off it as well.
I bought this jacket a week before winter break to take on my trip to Mt. Hood Oregon wile i was there they had every possible condition. it was 10 degrees about the entire time. but this jacket kept me supper toasty, and when i did get over heated i could open up the vents. but when it rains you cant cause you will get wet. i wear this jacket almost everyday to school i absolutely love it. and its design is crazy! ur sure to stand out (South Beach) one last thing is the place to put your ski pass is kooler then any other jacket. it at attaches to a pulley string which winds back up when you let go. so u grab it pull, scan, let go, and you never need to worry bout opening the jacket
Jacket is great, warm, has good vents. only thing i dont like is the main zip on it down the front, sometimes its a bit hard to connect the 2 sides, i dunno whether its just something wrong with my zip or whether its a common problem with the jacket. otherwise, great jacket
