Wet underwear is bad. Soggy long johns are even worse. Special Blend made the Men's Empire Snowboard Pants with 10K-rated waterproof fabric and critically taped seams, so you don't have to experience wet or soggy. The Empire shell snowboard pants keep your legs dry, and hip and inseam vents help you cool off after a few laps in the park. Articulated knees give you room to move during your grabs, and two big back pockets store glove liners. The Special Blend Empire pants' snow gaiters keep the white stuff on the slopes where it belongs.
Bottom Line: Special Blend's Empire Snowboard Pants—because no one wants to be king of the wet, clammy underwear world.
Ordered these pants with the knowledge that they could be any shade of green. They look sage in the picture, but they are certainly brighter. The Topiary Green is actually a radioactive green color. They are basically neon. Other than that, they are pretty nice for the money.
I'm 5'10'', athletic build and got the large. They fit perfect. Little loose, but that's good for flexibility on the ride, and lets me layer if I need to... The Black Icon color is so sick
Excellent SB pants. Great manuverability in them and solid construction keeps out snow and the cold. Colors arent as true as seen on the website but the quality of the pants make up for it. Also they are pretty long. Im about 5'11ish and 150 lbs and ordered the medium. Fits great on the waist but definitely a long baggy fit.
I just got the Courage, Its basically a light Grey color. pretty sick pants. and to everyone else saying they are too baggy there's a pull string in the pockets to pull up the legs...anyone else notice that?
Been a Special Blend fanboy for some time now... and for good reason. Their products are outstanding. I owned a pair of the Empire pants in XL, lost weight, went down a size and bought the same pants in Large. I could go on and on about them, but in the end, if you need a great pair of snowboarding pants for a great price, these are it. Special Blend + Dog Funk = Best Combo!
they're an awesome pant. the colors on this site aren't exactly correct so expect a much brighter color. and also they run long, and wide. very very baggy so watch your hems. but overall super dope pant
Kept me dry and with a pair of long johns on i stayed warm. Ordered a large, and the waist is HUGE on me but i like how baggy and long they are. If they were a tad shorter in length and with a smaller waist on the mediums i wouldnt mind, but with a belt there is no issue.
They run huge! I wear a medium in all other snowboard pants and the small did not even fit me. Also, the colors are extremely off. I ordered the red and when I opened the box I thought they sent me the wrong color because the pants were orange. Save yourself some money and don't get these.
