Technine Dime Snowboard - Women's

Technine created The Dime Snowboard for lady shredders who ride everything from groomers to boxes. This women's directional Technine snowboard features a radial sidecut and soft flex for easy turn initiation and a lightweight wood core with bi-axial fiberglass for snap energy, so you can get airtime. Choose from The Dime's several stance options, so you get what feels right for you.

Bottom Line: The Dime Snowboard is worth all your spare change—and then some.

Hi, this will be my forst time buying a board and I can't remember the size of the boards I've used before. What size and type should I buy if I am 5'6" and a beginner?

it depends a bit on your weight...if you weigh a bit more you can go longer...if your a skinny minny go shorter...shorter boards are easier to turn...but this guy looks pretty flexy so anywhere from 148-152 would prob be good.

i dont think either of the two people who posted have ever ridden a tech, i have ridden a couple and they are sicc boards, they are tough, have a lot of pop, hold the edges even under haggard jibs and ledges and stuff. As for being an off brand they are as durable as your mainstream brands.

technine is not a good brand... it has been told to be very un reliable and just not durable

honestly no, its more of an off-brand that is kinda unreputable and unreliable, their main selling point is that the brand seems to cater almost exclusivly to "gangsters", wanna-be gangsters, and any white guy who loves saggin his T9 pants...its poster boy is Mark Franc Montoya...ive heard nothing but bad things about anything from technine, most of the complaints being horrible quality and durability. look elsewhere :-)
