Union Force Snowboard Binding

If you ride 100 days or more during the season, Union made the Force Snowboard Binding with you in mind, regardless of your terrain of choice: this bombproof binding shreds steep lines as easily as it jibs in the park. The ridiculously durable Zytel ST nylon chassis paired with an anodized aluminum heelcup makes this binding rugged—they won't bust on you, even after several seasons of hard use.

  • The Multizone Highback offers the right balance of flex and strength so you get the freedom of movement you want and the support you need
  • Anodized aluminum heel cups transfer energy from your boot to your board for superior edge-to-edge control
  • EVA bushings dampen vibrations for smoother riding and an even board flex with no dead zones
  • Quick-adjust forward lean and tool-free size adjustment lets you make changes easily
  • Like all Union bindings, the Force comes with universal disks and a lifetime warranty on its baseplates

Bottom Line: The Force endures season after season.

Great for all mountain

By:
November 9, 2009

I obviously have these in green, L/XL. They have been great for all mountain on my Never Summer legacy so far. And by all mountain I mean jibs and groomers since it is still so early in the season. I will write another review when i have riden them more but for now ill tell you what little info i can.
The straps are nice because they bend forwards and backwards, even in the cold, and don't look like they'll come close to breaking.
Light weight enough not even notice them compared to the weight of my legacy
They are stiffer so does kinda limit my buttery-ness on rails but i didnt but them for park so thats alright with me
Love the green on the blue and black, lots of compliments from friends
If you are looking for a all mountain binding, this is the one for you

Back to Basics

I have these in black(bought in NZ) and I cannot rate these highly enough. They have a simple ratchet system which operates clean and smooth, no pressure points when strapped in, easy to adjust and most of all everything looks and feels solid. Union say these are for 100+ days riding a season, I can see why. I'm up to 60 days on them and will be riding them again this season, love 'em.
Don't take my word for it, try them yourself.

I have no idea if your asking for dudes or dudettes but... i am a dude i wear a size 12 and have the L/XL size and that is perfect for me. If your a dude i would go with the L/XL n o question. If your a girl I would try the M/L first cause you can costumize it like all bindings to have the toe strap longer. (But obviously i recommend going to your local snowboard shop first (bring a boot and ask for a M/L and a L/XL in the color you want and see which fits better)
This bindings has been doing well for the few days i have riden on it and strongly recommend it too.
Hope that helps
Kyle

Union Force Binders

By:
September 19, 2009

These binders are absolutely sick. So durable and can do it all. Even after 100+ day seasons they look and ride like they are fresh out the box. Not even sure why other companies are even bothering to make bindings anymore with Union around. You will not be disappointed and if you are, get back on your skis

They're pretty light and compete with the ride bindings forsure. (this is for all mountain riding of coarse, these bindings are a little stiffer) I would go with these over ride bindings any day but i do have some bias in this... i own unions and have only riden my friends Ride bindings before... never owned a pair personally.

Light and get the job done

I do everything from park to powder and this bindings can do both not flexy where you'll get lost in powder but not to stiff to hit some boxes or rails. What a binding to hit jumps with also, very nice shock absorbtion for those low blows when you bite it on the landing. I 100% recommend this binding to anyone who loves to go all moutain.

Pre Season Review

By:
October 29, 2009

After seeing every local shop owners eyes light up when I asked how Unions were I went ahead and got these in Green. The green is a little less mint looking in person than in the picture so dont worry. I threw these on my new Lib Sk8 Banana and straped in in my living room. Its hard to describe how perfect these bindings felt and some undescribable difference than any other binding I have strapped into so far. Ill try to explain more after I actually ride them. Dont worry that these things dont have some wierd shaped highback to look cool, the straps are solid and ratchet flawlessly, I couldnt feel any pressure points, and Union's fully ajustable disks alow you to put these anywhere at any angle you want on your board. EST what?
