Classic like a Cadillac.

It doesn't get any better than the Vans Sk8-Mid. Classic Vans stripe down the side, Off the Wall logo on the back, Black and White tenderness. The Sk8-Mid gives you same look and feel of the Van Old Skool but with extra coverage in the ankle. Lace em up or leave em loose you are sure to get people talking about these shoes.

well my friend had a pair of the sk8 hi's and cut most of the higher ankle support off tothe point where it was about the same height as a mid. so i was wondering if the look would be the same it seems theres more padding on the collar of the shoe wear it goes around ur ankle.

The tongue on the Vans Sk8 Mid is thin. The entire shoe is thin with no padding what so ever. It may seem that there is padding but Vans has put leather around the critical areas of the shoe. In the heel and ankle area specifically.

These are really comfortable and give you that old school feel with the protection and support of a mid. Plus they are Vans, best skate shoes ever!
