Volcom Regalia Parka Down Jacket - Women's - 2007

If you've ever wished you could wear your warm sleeping bag to class, to work, and downtown, you're ready for the Volcom Women's Regalia Parka Down Jacket. Thanks to 600-fill down and a to-the-knees-length, this jacket feels ridiculously cozy. The Regalia Parka Down Jacket's coated shell and critically taped seams help block moisture when it starts to flurry, and the high neck provides extra protection against wind. Thumb holes in the knit cuffs ensure cold air doesn't slip between your jacket and mittens, and this Volcom puffy parka's tricot-lined front pockets keep your bare hands warm.

Bottom Line: Volcom's Regalia Parka Down Jacket gives you warmth from neck to knee.

A blanket to go

By:

This is a fantastic parka that really does feel like you have a blanket around you when outside in the bitter cold weather. It keeps me toasty when waiting for the train on the platform. It's so warm that I do not wear it when the temperature is above 32 to 35 degrees F

I wanted to love it...

...but it did not work out. While it might be a great jacket for the outdoors, it is too hot to wear in the city when you go in and out of buildings. It does not have ventilation zippers so heat gets trapped. So, when you walk into a store or building, next thing you know you are covered in sweat, even if you unzip the jacket...then you go outside and you are sweaty...not good, it made me catch a cold :(The light and soft lining of the collar feels nice, but it is a trap for make up. So not a good choice for ladies that like to wear powder on their face.I had to return the jacket.

Volcome parka

Coat is very warm and easy to layer..It was very cold this winter in alaska.. (-20 & -30, for about a month) and layering w/ this jacket helped alot. great wind blocker. only objections are the collar is a bit big since it doens't have a hood (which would be nice.), and the cloth cuffs get attached to the velcro by the zipper which gets annoying. the cuffs fray a bit from the velcro. buttons would have been nice as well. but love it otherwise!

Nice Coat But.....

By:

Very nice coat! Very warm and stylish, but if you have hips I suggest ordering a size larger because the coat is a straight fit, it doesn't flair going to towards the bottom an it was a little tight around my bum nad hips.

suprisingly really nice

the windbreaker feature makes the jacket work really well, and very light feeling at the same time. in addition the holes in the sleeve, as part-glove, is super warm and useful. an excellent coat for the price. the only down side, is that the knitted sleeve part gets caught oftentimes on the velco. but great jacket.
