Volcom Thermal Heated Jacket - Men's

The Volcom Men’s Thermal Heated Jacket toastifies you with a removable battery-heated fleece. While your feet are stomping tricks and floating through smoky powder, your torso will be back in the hot tub at the lodge. Volcom gave this waterproof snowboard jacket an adjustable stretch waist gaiter to keep the fluff out, mesh-lined vents to let the sweat-swamp escape, and plenty of pockets hold your iPod, goggles, greens, and pass. Fully taped seams ensure total dryness, and when you’re not rocking the heated fleece liner, the shell’s light Polyfill insulation adds a bit of extra warmth.

All around good wear

This jacket is the bee's knees. I live above the arctic circle where it's already reached -20C, -40c with the wind chill. This is one of the warmest jackets I've ever warn but its not too warm to wear indoors too. I got the Drip light colour and the green on the jacket is a bit brighter than I expected. Also the heater is only a 8x8 inch pad on the back but it works. For the price I expected some in the front-maybe next year.

It takes 3 AA batteries. Haven't taken it out yet so i dont know how long the charge lasts.

Of course you can use this jacket for snowboarding as well as street use. Nothing about a jacket fully delegates what it's exact uses should be. Sure, it's got a built in battery powered heater for when you're shredding and getting chilly... But that doesn't mean you can't wear it to the bar at the end of the night. You may be a little more than toasty cruising the streets in it. But hey, whatever blows your skirt up.
