There's no reason to buy elegant winter boots if they're not also going to keep your feet warm. The main point of a winter boot, after all, is to have something cozier than your standard city boot. So Sorel crafted the Women's Cate the Great Boot with a vulcanized rubber shell, waterproof suede, and thick insulating felt inside. The result? A luxurious-looking boot that will keep your feet warm in temps as frigid as -25 degrees Fahrenheit. You may not be able to decide what you appreciate more: the boot's fine aesthetic details like a faux fur cuff and lovely stitching, or its seam-sealed waterproof construction. But don't worry. You don't have to pick your favorite feature; you can just adore them all, all winter long.
Bottom Line: A truly great, truly lovely boot you can wear in the wettest, coldest storms.

I wanted to love these boots, really I did. I still want to love them, but unless I move to Whistler, where I plan to wear them, I'll look like an id(iot) walking around LA in these monsters. Ok, now for some useable feedback. These boots are very, very clunky & huge. If you're into that hunky look, grab 'em. They can't be tightened around the ankles and calves and when you tighten them up at the top for a snug fit, it just ruins the line of the boot. The laces can be tightened tight up at the top, but not at the bottom because the hard, fixed, unyielding rubber that you're foot will be swimming in won't budge. Not hap'nin. Not comfy to walk in because they knock your feet inside the boot. I returned them and haven't looked back. I did find some sweet denim snowboard pants though. They're DOPE, DC rocks.

I bought the Joan of Artic last year from Sorel and it was amazing... but now they are offering the same idea of a boot with more fashion so I can rock it anywhere and feel like a girl! It is a must HAVE!!!

Shoveling the driveway could look sooooo good! These boots are amazing-dress them up, dress them down-literally wear them all winter long for everything. I might need all colors...so hard to choose! Ladies, these will not let you down!
