You know you've arrived when some random chick asks you to sign her pant leg on the lift ride.
You might not be pro, but mark our words: you might fool a few people while wearing the Special Blend Men's Autograph Jacket. With exclusive GORE-TEX fabric, a baggy fit, and street styling, this snowboard shell lets you ride through the storm with style. Special Blend gave the Autograph Jacket an extra six inches of length for added warmth and protection. Waterproof fabric and a super-sized hood will keep you bone-dry, even in a downpour. On warmer days, unfurl the Underarm zips and zip out the waist gaiter for a little more ventilation. When you roll up to the liftline for your first run, use the Autograph Jacket's Yo-yo pass holder to show the lifties you're legit. A multitude of inner pockets, including a goggle pocket, holds any little thing you might want on the mountain.

What year is the jacket/model? 2008 or 2009?
This is last years jacket. 2009-2010. This jacket is crazy good, 25K, super technical shell. It is ridiculous that it is so cheap.
This jacket is the best I have ever had! I purchased it at 60% off and could not be more pleased. I would be hard-pressed to find a better jacket for the price, much less a DOUBLLE-LAYER Gore-Tex jacket! I had another Special-Blend brand jacket for the past three years and I thought I was happy with it until I purchased this one. The Autograph Gore-Tex jacket blew it away! The Autograph jacket is very comfortable and superior to the harshest of elements. I am 6'4" and 190 pounds and got the XL and was worried it would be too large, but it fits me just the way I like it, loose-but-not-too-loose (just right).I am sure you will be as stoked about this jacket as i am!! I am glad I listened to the other reviewer leu2456523! Thanks!

the M size is rated 91-96cm chest, and im 92cm. will M fit with under-jacket armor? i mean not those long sleeved shirts with foam padding here and there but a "massive" spine protection and front side (chest) armor, plus maybe 2nd slim layer for cold days.
If the "massive" spine protection is really massive than no, it would be tight and uncomfortable. Go with the large for a better fit if you do intend to wear that protection. If not M will be big enough.
This jacket is great. Super comfortable, the insulation is nice and soft but not big and bulky, and this combined with the really nice/soft fabric on the inside mean that it feels awesome just putting it on. No need to worry about the waterproofing. I'm from australia and we had some pretty heavy rain one day, i may as well have been in a rain coat. The jacket also cuts out all of the wind, but breathes at the same time. Plenty of pockets, and the yo-yo pass holder is a nice touch. Looks sweet as well.Only downsides i would say would be what the guy below me said about the wrist gaitors, and also that it can be a bit awkward if you want to tighten the hood. Other than that, this jacket is sick.
And also wearing Electric EG1s and riding my Forum Raider board, all purchased online here

if i will wear underneath the jacket a long sleeved tee will it keep me warm enough in windy and minus temperatures?
I've worn mine with just a t-shirt underneath on negative days and been fine, but if you're talking about -10 or lower, you're gonna want to wear some better layering underneath. A cotton t-shirt really isn't going to cut it when it gets at all wet anyway.
its awesome its the best jackter i ever had! when its warm you just open the filters and if its cold you just zip em up. ITs the best jacket ever

is this jacket warm for those -20 days or no?
No shell jacket on its own will keep you warm on a -20 day. Period.
Sickest Jacket Ever
I've been riding the 08/09 Special Blend Autograph Jacket for about 3 months now and it is sick! I live in Alaska and this jacket has easily endured subzero temperatures, 25+ mph winds, and freezing rain. I have yet to get even the slightest bit wet or cold while riding. There's plenty of pockets, a decent amount of insulation, more waterproofing than you could ever wish for, and tons of sick SB style too. My only complaint is that the wrist gaiters don't have any sort of elastic band to keep them from slipping off your gloves, if you wear the sleeves over your gloves that is (they do have a velcro adjustment though). One important thing to note is that this jacket certainly does run a little big. I typically wear a medium, which is what I originally ordered, but had to exchange it for a small. Hardly a complaint when DogFunk shot me out a new one free of charge (shipping to Alaska isn't cheap). The bottom line; if you're looking for an insanely waterproof jacket that looks as sick as it functions, don't hesitate to pick up an Autograph. A+
This is the first Special Blend product i have purchased and I bought this jacket at 50% off! Great price for a gore-tex jacket. I bought the struggle tonal color and it looks great and received several compliments : ) The description says the jacket is just a shell, but the nylon lining does provide a little insulation versus just a shell itself. I wore this jacket in 20degree weather with strong winds and my underarmour and a tshirt underneath and i was comfortable all day. The description also says the jacket is cut 6 inches longer, and because i'm only 5'7" i was worried this jacket was going to be too long on me. Size small actually fit perfect, just the right size in length and arm length, definitely not any longer than your average snowboard jacket. Before this jacket i wore a North Face medium, so i decided to buy a Burton Cyclic medium and that jacket felt like an X Large. Beware snowboard jackets seem to run a little bigger than your average jacket. I'm glad I decided to go with this jacket than exchange the Cyclic for a small because the collar was HUGE if the jacket was not all the way zipped up. The Special Blend Autograph has more pockets than you know what to do with, but they're great to have. The only thing i would say i do not really care for on this jacket is the detachable hood. I wish the hood was connected on permanently than having the option to zip it off. The hood is big, no worries about fitting a helmet underneath. I'm very satisfied with my purchase! enjoy!
This jacket kills it. The insulation is just enough in it to keep the cold out, but you don't bake on those warm days. Super comfortable, killer style. It has pockets like whoah! Removable hood/liner are nice touches, as is the ipod pocket.
