Special Blend Blast Insulated Jacket - Men's - 2009

Designed for frozen park days and light-kit rail sessions, the Special Blend Men’s Blast Insulated Jacket keeps you warm enough to handle temperatures on the ice planet Hoth, and is engineered for active shredders looking to enhance their Jedi training. A slimmer synth-loft style insulation keeps your core warm and your arms active, so you can focus on thrashing the next imperial rail on your list.

  • Gusseted underarm gets the grab without getting forearm rise
  • Cuff gaiter keeps snow out of your wrists
  • Removable hood with faux fur lining for warmth and style
  • Glove holder stashes your mitts when not in use
  • Adjustable cuffs and hem cinch dial in fit and keep in warmth
  • Front storm flap blocks cold wind and snow from infiltrating your zipper
  • Safety clip alligator clip for puff sessions in the trees
  • Ride/Relax upsnaps keep powder skirt out of your way when you don’t need it

Bottom Line: Go blast the park.

Sick Jacket, I love it

By:
December 1, 2010

I'm 5'8" and 130lbs on the skinny side, and a small fits really well on me. It wasn't too baggy or too tight--just perfect. The green plaid looks fly, the fur on the hood is removable, and it's super warm because of all the insulation material in the jacket.

There's tons of pockets, however the inside pockets use velcro on the flaps so it's not 100% secure during a hard tumble. There's only 2 front pockets that has zippers and they're in the front. Other hidden features include a microfiber cloth on the front breast pocket to clean your goggles and a retractable keychain holder on the side.

There's NO wrist gaiters though, be aware of that. The powder skirt isn't removable either. Otherwise, great jacket and a steal at $110 bucks.

The Large will be a good size for you. The insulation is good and will keep you warm. With all jackets on the days that it is crazy cold, wear good first layer and you will be stoked.

Sorry man it doesn't. The special blend jackets that do have them are the signature and autograph jackets. Check them out here; http://www.dogfunk.com/snowboard/Special-Blend-Autograph-GoreTex-Insulated-Jacket-Mens/SPE0257M.html. The blast jacket is legit though, super warm. You will be stoked on any of these jackets.

Medium would still be pretty baggy. It is insulated, so defiantly going to keep you cozy. Make sure you layer well, use good first layer. No cotton, doing that will keep you warm for sure.
