We didn't think that the moderately-insulated Men's Caliber Jacket couldn't get any better after last year, but Special Blend went ahead and upped the waterproofing to suit wetter conditions. The Caliber still has the same slim fit and removable pow skirt so you won't need two different jackets to suit warm park sessions and epic pow days. Put the underarm zips and hood to good use, and you'll know after the first few days of the season that you picked the right Caliber jacket to suit your shred-thread needs.
Bottom Line: Shoot the chutes and pop off a bunch of rounds in the park.

Got this jacket pretty late in the season so I haven't gotten to ride it much yet, but the few times I did, I was stoked. It has a sick tailored fit on it so you can wear it places other than the hill and it looks fresh. The only complaint is the audio pocket is only accesible if you zip the jacket part way down. Other than that, such a good purchase.
does this have a pow skirt or no? in the description it says

The Caliber jacket is one of my personal favorites. Real, Raw, Refined specifically by Special Blend Team rider Jake Welch. Great styling with lots of well placed pockets. Designed to look like a jacket with a hoodie underneath. The hood is a DWR coated bonded fleece.

Its always better to layer up. i wear the thinest jacket i cant find so i can always strip layers or add more depending on the day.

Whatup Sean, this jacket has light insulation but it will keep you a lot warmer than a shell will. It also features a solid 10k waterproof rating, so it will protect you from almost all wind and most moisture. I think you'll be good in a Michigan winter with this jacket.
