The color is a washed out green. Maybe your computer monitor is a little off?

These pants are the bom-diggity. They are super waterproof.I ran them under the faucet in my sink and the water just beads right off of them. These kept me super dry all day in this warm New Jersey weather when the snow was really slushy. And the swag factor is off the charts, I got alot of compliments with these(I have them in green). GET THESE PANTS DUDE!

I'm 6-1 about 190 pounds and fit snug in a 34 jean...would a XL be too baggy? Or would my best bet be to roll with a L?

Since these are SB's slim fit, a large might be too constricting in the waist and legs. My gut tells me that when you're shredding, you'll appreciate the little extra room the XL offers. But, you can always order both sizes and send one back, no questions asked.

All I have are special blend pants! Being that I'm tall (5 10") most women lines were always too short. I have these in L cuz I still like a little room in my pants. It says "Give your girlfriend her pants back"..but odds are you girlfriend is going to end up stealing these ;)

They are a shell pant, not insulated. If worn by themselves they will not be crazy warm but if you layer appropriately you will be fine.

Slimness and Features

By:

Im a pretty skinny dude, 5'9, about 130... these pants are slim NOT skinny. For me this is perfect, they are not too tight but have the slimming look. There are also awesome features, a zip chord in each pocket that attaches to the bottom of the pants, simply pull the chords and the pants rise out of the mud and dirty snow.

They are not skin tight jean fit but they are slim for Special Blend. The whole pant is slim fit, not just the knee. It is a great fit. They feel like my jeans. I wear Analog Arto jeans.

They are ok but not the best

I bought a pair two years ago just because they were cheap and I was feeling like some black duddly pants. Well the first time I wore them out shredding doing some urban rails they tore so not to big of a fan of Special Blend given that my coat I have is falling apart too. But it is tight when it is new I will say that the pants were not as constrictive as I personally like them though.

Well my friend I don't believe I had anything to do with the pants tearing other then they just weren't durable enough for me. I rode Holden pants before and loved. Got these and just didn't cut it for me. It is my opinion I personally like the holden better. I like the fit but I don't think that pants should tear like that the first time out shredding. I have done the same thing with my new and old holden pants and nothing of the sort has happened. LOVE HAYDE89

Did you fall on the pants and rip them on a rail or did they bust at the seam? If if was the former then that is your fault not the pants. If it was at the seam then you should have sent them back to Special Blend for a new pair. I've worn mine for two years now and have not had a problem. The fit is legit and the pull tight hem adjuster is the greatest invention for snow pants.

I'm 6'-2" 170lbs and usually wear a 32" pant with a belt to keep em' up. Would Large be too big around the waist? I'm afraid Medium might be too short on my legs.

Get the large for sure. They will fit you just fine. The mediums will be too small.
