Special Blend Division Pant - Men's - 2008

The Special Blend Men's Division Snowboard Pant is in a class all of its own. The Division Pant gives you waterproof protection, a baggy fit, and all the pockets you can handle. Special Blend constructed these technical shell pants out of Super DWR-coated 10K waterproof nylon and then taped the critical seams to make sure you stay dry when you're charging hard. If you're lapping the park in spring, the Division Snowboard Pants breathe well and feature large inseam vents to help you drop heat. As for pockets, we lost count after about five, but we did see a hidden stash pocket for the herbs and spices you need to bake on the mountain.

Bottom Line: The Special Blend Division Pants keep your goods dry during on-mountain operations.

I'm 5'5 152lbs and wear a 30 in jeans. How baggy are they compared to Burton's Shaun White Heaven's reward pants? I'm not into the really baggy look..a little is good...and if they are real baggy, could I size down to an xs?

30" is the cut off between sizes. If you like a tight waist you could size down. I would say not to though, the Small would be good. Special Blend has toned down their bagginess this year verse last year. Loose but not crazy. The heaven's reward pant would be a similar, i might say the SB are a little more baggy but not by much.

Dope pants...The usual oversized fit normally accompanied with Special Blends stuff. I got the saphron colorway and the color in the photograph is off, they're way brighter in person. Lots of pockets for holding extra gear and they were cheap as all hell! Good stuff...

Nice and Baggy...a bit too long

By:
March 16, 2009

The pants are great but my only complaint is they are too long. When I'm walking around the parking lot, I have to hold up my pants with my hands to avoid them going under my boots. I'm 5'11 and 162 lbs and got the Mediums.

Overall, I love the pants.

Great but only one problem.

I LOVE these pants, very warm, no wet long johns/underwear, and lots of pockets. My only problem is i ordered black and the black in the picture looks darker than the black you get because the black you get looks a tad faded compared to the pic.

They do their job but....

Super warm pants that keep you bone dry. My only concern is some stitching that came undone on one of the back pockets that was never even used!! Luckily the mom's a pimp at sewing!!

Good Fit

Very comfortable. I like the strings in the pockets that pull the bottom of the pants up, very convenient for getting your boots on and walking around without dragging when you're not riding.
