It is a shell piece that is made to be worn over your first layer. If you have a good first layer you should be nice and warm.

The Special Blend Siryn features the liberty fit, a nice relaxed fit perfect for riding or chilling. This shell is a longer trench style silhouette. The linings is a soft 210T taffeta lining. This an all around great jacket. You will love the way you look.

I'm not sure on the length, but it is a longer trench style fitting jacket. You will be stoked on the fit and length for sure.
