Load the chamber, cock the hammer, and pull on the Trigger; the Special Blend Men's Jacket, that is. Because those who are tired of only being given baggy, over-stuffed jackets with techy features that would make a masked vigilante jealous have an ally named Special Blend. The Trigger's slim, but not overly-tight, fit moves with your body as your kick ass all over the mountain. And this highly durable, waterproof shell features warm lining and cool mesh in key regions as well as removable weaponry (the hood and powder skirt) to give you versatility on the ever-changing battlefield called winter.
My big point of contention is the type of fit of this jacket (slim). When they say slim like will it be snug if I get one my size? Cus I like some baggyness in my jackets, for layering room and just stylistically. I'm leaning towards this trigger jacket because I like the pockets on it more but I'm still not sure. I was going to get a medium (my usual size) should I size up and get a large to get baggyness in this one? or will it then be too big!? btw I'm 5'7" and about 157 lbs
This jacket has the Revolver Fit. Shows Rocker style without hindering your ridding freedom, the slimmer fit takes it's cue from urban Streetwear. More military than hipster. It is measured and trimmed for the serious shred soldier. You should fair well in a large if your wanting a little extra room for layering.
I would definitely go with the Trigger - this was my fave Special Blend jacket from last year. The color choices are bangin and the pocketing is great.
Even though this jacket's a slim fit, it's not ridiculously slim. The one thing that stumps me though is size. If you like some bagginess in your jacket, I want to say try a large first. I say this because you're pretty thick at 157 lbs, and jackets appear much smaller once you have all your gear on and are strapped in to your board. Be sure to wear your snow pants, glove, etc. when trying on the jacket because obviously if you're wearing your skinny jeans, the jacket will appear huge. If the large is way too big, you can always exchange it hassle-free for the medium. Enjoy, good choice going with the Trigger.

I'd agree. I'm 6'0" and about 215, and I needed to get an XL because the L was just way too small in the shoulders. It seems that Special Blends's revolver fit has become slimmer. I previously had a 2008 model jacket, and the large fit fine. I ordered a large (which I had to return) in a current year jacket, and it was so small I could barely zip it up.
A large will be much too small for you. The model in the pics is 6 feet tall and about 170 lbs.
I recommend an XXL for several reasons. First, one reviewer mentions that this jacket runs small and you're definitely a big dude. Second, keep in mind that layers take up room and you don't want to be constricted by your outerwear. Third, jackets tend to look MUCH smaller when you have all your snowboard gear on and are strapped in to your board.
And if the XXL is too big, you can always exchange it for the XL, no questions asked. Hope that helps.
The Special Blend Trigger jacket is my go to jacket for the year. The 15k, 15000g breathability, mini herringbone fabric is durable and soft at the same time. The lining is made up of brushed tricot and closed cell mesh. The Trigger has fully taped seams, zippered hand warmer pockets, removable powderskirt and a removable hood.
You will not be disappointed in the Trigger at all.
