Hi! I have the Special Blend Packer 3 in...
Hi! I have the Special Blend Packer 3 in 1 jacket in size S. Im 5' 6.9" and 133 lbs and its huge! the fleece jacket fits well but the other one its sooo big! This is because its from Principal group and i was wondering if the revolver group fit slim or at least normally! thank you
Yes, the Revolver group is a slimmer fit. The jackets are not at all cray tight but they are more fitting. You will be pretty happy with the way it fits.
I bought this jacket in black for my man for Christmas. He loves it! He says it's the nicest and warmest jacket he's ever owned. We haven't had the chance to shred any powder yet this year, but we're totally stoked to break this baby in.
He looks awesome in it too.
Just picked this up in Burnt Olive. This thing looks sick and fits great. I'm 6'1" 220 and the XL fits like a dream. Would recommend this jacket to anyone, especially at this price.
are these zippers waterproof?
are these zippers waterproof?
They are not 100% water proof, but they do keep the moisture out, Plus the jacket has the protective flap to stop the majority of moisture from ever reaching the zippers. I wouldn't worry about that aspect of the jack to much though. You'll be stoked on this jacket for sure.
Great Jacket at a Great Price!
I got this jacket close to the end of the 2008-2009 season and loved all the features of the jacket. I only wore it once since I got it but it def. kept me warm and stylish.
*Update* Sick stylish jacket that kept me warm even at -15F during 09-10 season
This jacket is awesome! Comfortable and with all of the extras (pockets, etc.) that you can hope for. Was completely warm up in Canada and looked good while enjoying it. I am 6', 180 lb. and got a Large, which was perfect. Now get yourself the jacket!
BackCountry description of Trigger Jacket lacking
Special Blend "Trigger" Insulated Jacket (Men's) ---
All in all this is a terrific jacket for my teen son, but it shouldn't cost more than a similar "Coco" Jacket by FourSquare! When I compare the 2 jackets FourSquare has a better snow-skirt design. The Special Blend "Trigger" Jacket has a lot of bulky snaps holding the skirt so there is almost no way to adjust it. Some snaps must be refastened in front whenever you want to shut out the weather. Pain in the @$$! BackCountry could have mentioned the snaps in their description, but they opted for "Surprise!" over detailed accuracy.
The FourSquare "Coco" Jacket has a neat, smooth, hidden draw string that allows for maximum adjustment & comfort. The snow-skirt on the FourSquare Jacket is in place and ready to go forever after the initial out-of-the-box adjustments. Fabulous!
Also, this sounds trivial, but the lining in the hood of the Special Blend Trigger Jacket is a loud, bold, very obnoxious, attention-getting black & white design that was not shown on BackCountry's photos and was not mentioned at all in their description. As a consumer buying through the internet --
I HATE surprises!
Thankfully my son is "cool" with the loud graphic now, but I would not have bought the jacket if I had known about it while shopping.
Dear BackCountry: The descriptions of your gear are helpful, insightful and even fun, but as a buyer, I would trade all your clever writing for more descriptive accuracy and full-disclosure!
Warm, Waterproof, and comfy. I'm 5'10" and I bought a L. It is really nice and baggy, just how I like it for the slopes!
