You're a part of the crew that turns heads every single day that the resort is open, but none of you are sporting the right jacket ... yet. That over-pocketed, heavy winter jacket doesn't cut it in the style department, either, but the Special Blend Men's Unit Jacket does. The SB chest logo shows that you and the gang are in it from first chair to last call, and the striped, ribbed hem accenting on this lightly insulated jacket proves that you aren't into snowboarding for the image, only.
Bottom Line: You're in it to be the best at your resort.
definitely a good purchase, nice and light weight. color scheme is good, i got blue me. im usually a large but after reading the reviews, i sized down and it fits perfectly.
Im 5'10 but i like my jackets baggie and i wear my shirts in size large and they go to about my hip. I really want this jacket. if i get a large will it be to huge? cuz i dont mind if they go to mid thigh. Also is this jacket going to keep me warm if its dumping buckets of snow and like 30 degrees?
Whatup Elijah- as far as size, I think a large will be fine if you don't mind it hitting you mid-thigh. When trying it on, be sure to put on your snowpants b/cthe jacket will look huge with your skinny jeans.
Waterproofing: it's got a solid 10k waterproof rating. It'll keep you dry in snow and light rain.
Warmth: it has a small amount of insulation (way better than a shell) that will keep you warm down to about 20 degrees. any colder and you'll prob have to wear another layer underneath.

Simple and clean with two side pockets and interior media pocket. Tri-color ribbed cuffs and hem. Silky smooth tafetta lining. Critically taped seems, waterproof where it matters.

I would like to buy this Special Blend Unit Jacket in Small Size but in Chronic Colour, can any one tell me where I can buy on-line as dogfunk seems out of stock.
This jackets chill, I got the blackout XL. I like a taller comfy jacket and the unit stayed true. Had an XL Holden piece and it was getting snug. So it feels hella light weight but don't worry. It's got nice insulation.. holds heat real nice and keeps ya lookin jus as hot. Nice media spot on yer inside left, got those tunes close. Unghh. Hands down worth it. Trust me if anyone, I looked at this fer a while. I know you like that Steele reserve color scheme too, don't lie
Im 6'5,but pretty skinny. I was gonna order the XL but it seems from the questions below that its super baggy. I don't like things super baggy but i do need length. would I maybe want a large or stick with the XL. im usually XL in most board coats and they fit fine.
I love this jacket, it looks sweet, perfect for the East coast. But the only problem im having is the way it's wearing. I do a lot of urban rideing so I carry my board allot more than its on my feet, and on my right side where I carry my board, the jacket is getting small tears and frays. I just think that for the amount of money I paid that it would last with out a tear for more than a year, but this one only lasted a few days. So if your looking for somthing durable, this wouldn't be my first pick.
I have dark gray heathered pants should i get the blood colored one or the black with black with blue? alsoim 5' 8'' and 135 what size would i get i like it a little baggy?
WELL I PURCHASED THIS SB JACKET CAUSE ITS A 10K JACKET FOR $140. NOT A BAD DEAL. THE JACKET WAS A LITTLE BIT LIGHTER THAN I EXPECTED AND THE SIZE WAS WAY OFF! I NORMALLY WEAR A LARGE IN EVERYTHING. SHIRTS, HOODIES AND JACKETS. I BOUGHT A SIZE LARGE AND IT WAS WAAAY TO BIG. RETURNED IT AND GOT A MEDIUM. KINDA STILL IS A SLIGHT BIT BAGGY BUT IT LOOKS ALRIGHT. JUST MAKE SURE YOU BUY ONE SIZE SMALLER THAN NORMAL.
i'm about 5'11 and 155 lbs, i like a super baggy jacket without it being like a dress, this jacket in particular looks like its longer, should i go with a large or xl?
I've shredded plenty in N Mich and I have to say that NO jacket is warm enough for me to stay toasty there with only a long sleeve.
That said, you may be a total Eskimo-badass that doesn't get cold. If that's the case this jacket has a small amount of insulation (40 grams). For me, I would wear a jacket with either more insulation (like 100+ grams), or a down jacket, if I was rocking a single layer underneath. Burton Deerfield jacket is so warm and looks killer. check these links...
Personally, if I was shreddin this jacket at Blackjack or Indianhead all winter, I would get a really warm insulating layer to wear underneath. But really I would just get a down jacket and call it good.
