Primed for pressin'.
Laying down some of the steeziest presses in the biz, Joe Sexton puts it all on the line when pressin' the heaviest of hand rails. His newest signature model by Stepchild, the Joe Sexton Pro Model Snowboard, takes a medium-soft flex and catch-free reverse camber profile to aid in dismantling gnarly kinked rails and high-consequence street features.
Loaded with Stepchild's top-notch Kicker III core, the board's guts contain high-energy poplar wood for boosting onto handrails and flying down gaps. The core has been reinforced along the rails and insert strips with ultra-durable beech for impact protection when landing on rough surfaces. Preventing this street-friendly board from folding like a taco when sliding huge rails, triax fiberglass provides a slightly stiffer torsional flex to give extra stability and support. Armadillo plates further fortify the binding areas of this board with diamond-shaped fiberglass reinforcements; these protection plates absorb impact and lessen breakage when slamming onto concrete, metal, and snow. Park Formula urethane sidewalls reduce chatter and excess vibration when jibbing, grinding, and turning for a smoother overall riding experience.
