Stepchild Snowboards JP Walker Snowboard - 2009
Even though it is still the underappreciated, red-headed kid of the snowboard industry, Stepchild has a secret weapon to take on the corporate goons—JP Walker and the Stepchild JP Walker Snowboard. Expect a highly responsive all-mountain freestyle stick that can handle everything from the longest rail you can find to the biggest hits you’ll ever attempt.
- Kicker III core is mostly poplar (light and flexible) with dense beech wood along rails and under bindings where hard riders need added resilience
- Round Edge Tapered Tuning (R.E.T.T) feature means pre-dulled edges between the bindings that gradually get sharper toward nose and tail so you can attack rails right away
- Armadillo Plate fiberglass re-enforcement layer is placed over the inserts for added strength under foot
- Quadrax fiberglass layer adds pop and rebound
- Structurn die-cut base is pre-waxed and fast as hell for immediate shredability
- True twin shape rides the same with your bindings or head on backwards
Bottom Line: R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
Leave your mark on The Wall.
