Stepchild Snowboards Park Rat Snowboard - Kids' - 2011
Born in a laboratory in an undisclosed location, and the result of late night genetic experiments, the Stepchild Park Rat Kid's Snowboard was cross-mutated with a super-aggressive radioactive rodent that's bent on dissecting the park.
- Traditional camber is tried, true, and ready to take on the mountain with power and pop that won't quit
- D-Twin is a directional twin stance (slightly longer nose) paired with twin stance, flex, and sidecut
- Armadillo Plate reinforcement places a diamond shaped extra layer of fiberglass around the inserts to avoid blowouts without changing the board's flex pattern
- Armorcore uses High Durable Construction, a process that injects glue into the core through integrated channels at the same time the board is pressed
- Snag-Free base is made without joints or die-cut graphics (which can slow a board down) and then is pressed with a temperature-control system to harden the base for added durability
Bottom Line: An escaped experiment, ready to wreak havoc.
