Two parts park, one part street, and maybe some optional powder.

The ironic part about the Stepchild Powder Sucks Snowboard is that you can ride powder with it. Sure, this true-twin, soft-flexing freestyle board is at home in the park and even in the streets, but sometimes you might just have to ride some pesky powder in order to get to your favorite jib spots (only to dig out the rails). The Sucks also features non-sucky construction such as the impact-resistant underfoot Armadillo plate, poppy and light wood core, and 24 inserts for multiple stance options.
  • Traditional camber is tried, true, and ready to take on the mountain with power and pop that won't quit
  • Armadillo Plate reinforcement places a diamond shaped extra layer of fiberglass around the inserts to avoid blowouts without changing the board's flex pattern
  • Snag-Free base is made without joints or die-cut graphics (which can slow a board down) and then is pressed with a temperature-control system to harden the base for added durability

Anything but sucks

For all the traditional camber park riders who like to venture out into the wild every now and then.

This board has a good snap to it but is soft enough to have a lot of fun in the park. It basically does everything but suck, both in and out of the park.

I'd go with the sucks, especially in regular camber. It's soft enough to ride any park feature and is stable on the jumps.

Hey I was wondering if I should get the mid-wide version of this board. I got size 12 Salomon Echelon boots.

Also any other info on sizing would be appreciated. I'm 5"9, 160lb and also I am looking to get Union Force bindings for this board.

Would all of this be a good combination.

KJ I would definitely go with the MW in reverse camber. 152 if you like that park riding more, or 155 if you're all mountain style. Good fit with the Unions though for sure.

yeah you should go mid wide for sure i gotta 12 boot and im rockin a wide never summer revolver. And it depends you could ride any of these but the 49 unless your kinda riding street. Like the guy above me i'd say go with the 52 if your into jibs and kickers but get the 55 if you wanna ride everywhere and have better control while cruzin outside of the park.
