Surftech Channel Islands Flyer II Surfboard - 2011
You can only afford one, which means that you won't have the opportunity to choose among multiple waveriders after a quick peep at the surf. And since you can only have one board, Surftech built Al Merrick's versatile shape and combined it with an über-durable core to create the Channel Islands Flyer II Surfboard. Steep entry rocker and thicker rails suit smaller waves, while the swallow tail lets your hold those arcs longer when the ocean kicks up and starts sending lips over the heads of the biggest dudes out there.
- Durable Tuflite EPS (fused-cell) core helps eliminate the possibility of water absorption if you crack the epoxy coating
Bottom Line: The better way to float, cut, and fly high.
Leave your mark on The Wall.
Go for the 7' unless you're a competitive surfer, or planning to lose 15 or more pounds.
