Flexy Soul Fish.
For the experienced surfer looking for a board that can handle the bumps and knocks of travel or shallow waters during shore-break sessions, there's the Surftech Soul Fish Ultraflex Surfboard. Randy French's upgraded Tuflite core and flexible glass layers, along with the narrower, longer sizes, combine to give a flex and feel closer to traditional poly boards than his regular Tuflite boards. So even when it's a weak day, you have the Soul Fish to propel you past the skeptics and right into a good day on the water.
- Ultraflx Control System (Tuflite fused-cell EPS core with epoxy coating) features fiberglass layers more flexible than traditional weaves—offers more lateral flex and a springy torsional feel that helps propel you off the rail
- Deep swallowtail design that holds well during deep carves, increases drive in smaller waves, and allows better paddling power
- Steep nose rocker fades into a flat mid to limit nose-dives and generate speed quickly as soon as you get up

I don't know what size they took the picture of, but the 6' 6" that I got has no where near the swallow tail of the one in the photo. Can it really be that different for the different sizes? Anyway, my tail "V" isn't even past the leash loop, and the one on the site picture goes well past that. I think I would have been happier with a deeper v, but it still seems like a good board, I'm sure I'll have some fun.
