Technine MFM Pros: good enough for Marco Montoya, good enough for you.
Dial in your Technine MFM Pro Snowboard Bindings exactly how you like them. Not only can you adjust the highback's forward lean, but you can also rotate it without interfering with your ankle strap adjustments. Tweakable toe and heel ramps absorb shock, dampen vibrations, and allow excellent edge response. The MFM Pro's aircraft-grade aluminum heel cups work with padded Baltimore Toe Straps to minimize heel lift and adjust so as to eliminate toe and heel drag.

Hahahaha really? Technine=monkeys
Yeah, as you'll see from all the other reviews...these are absolute pieces of shit. I honestly got them yesterday, put them on and spent a while with all the nifty adjustments...i was pretty impressed. brought them into the park today and just took a few laps. Highback plastic straight up snapped FIRST DAY OF RIDING. Talk about a waste.
horrible to say the least
I bought these bindings last winter. Just saw them on whiskeymilitia for 25 dollars. I didn't pay much more than that and they still aren't worth it. They are absolutely the worst bindings I have ever ridden. I thought at first it was maybe bad adjustment but nope its not they stink. Don't buy, if you really want them pick my pair up from my local garbage dump.
works for me...
i've ridden these bindings hard for 200+ days over last season into this season and they're still going. So... I like them. They are on their last leg and the screw holes where the highback attaches to the heel scoop are worn down, and one screw on the inside highback adjust comes loose sometimes... But that's after A LOT of riding. Maybe I just bought the only good pair that Technine made? Or maybe it's that I'm not a gaper.
Look...i have had these binders since february and they are pretty good. They ride just swell good response and good flex for jibbing and jumping. They need loctite... thats the first thing I did when i bought them and haven't had a problem with any screws falling out or anything getting loose. The leather material gets a little scuffed when you bite it but its no big deal... good binders if you take care of your stuff. The ratchets occasionally slip as well and sometimes you have to struggle to get them tight but I don't mind all that much good bindings for the price right now so if u are looking to get into freestyle on a budget these are what you need to by good bindings other than problems stated...so order them then go learn that 270 to boardslide!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yuh
Not worth it!
I have done two trips with these bindings... the first was okay. No problems that day. That second day the toe strap fell off. You constantly have to make sure all the parts are secure after each run and that takes away time on the mountain. Spend extra money on some quality bindings and not these ones. They do look cool though...
i bought these and if you read from the other reviews the toe straps and the other straps come off because of the T shaped screw. so if you replace those T shaped screws with a regular screws they will be fine. also they are very poorly made. the stitching comes undone the leather sucks, over all the bindings is sucky.
good product for me i like the way the ride they are awsome just wish that they would feel a little more sturdybut other than that i would use another binding at least until next season
these are the best bindings i have had in a very long time... once you adjust them to your boots they kick some major @$$!! i havent used them as much as i would like to but they definitely rock.. buy them
Never Again, nothing Pro about them
Im a college student so i dont buy really expesive stuff, in this case, go with the extra money. THESE THINGS SUCK! Will never buy technine again.
These bindings = POOP
These bindings seriously suck.
+ Toe strap didn't stay strapped after riding them twice.
+ Straps don't get tight enough.
+ High backs are way too tall.
+ Buckles are cheap.
I expected more from a pro model and I've had better. Boo.
These bindings work ok when they are actually working, but the screws just fall out all the time. They are heavy but pretty adjustable, its just a shame that putting the highbacks up and down unscrews the screws and ruins the adjustment settings as well as being annoying and dangerous. Ive had some Flux super titans for a couple of years and these are shocking compared to them, avoid T9, get Flux or something for sure. Plus all they're riders are loser gangster wannabees lol.
Put together by Monkeys
These have to be the worst bindings I've ever seen. I've worked in the snowboard industry for over 7 years as an instructor and as a shop kid. I've seen a lot of bindings over the years, but these take the cake for the worst ever. Many of the metallic parts rusted, plastic threading was stripped, the base plates came loose time and time again. Please, for your own safety and satisfaction, do not buy these bindings.
toes straps suck
I bought these because my MFM pro's '07 were awesome, especially for me because I like jibbing and buttering and my board was super flex so the bindings played along with me, but these MFM's suck. The little T's on the straps where you adjust the length, rust and break. The toe straps won't get tight, if I have them positioned correctly the bracket won't grab onto the ladder to tighten down because the ladder is too week and just bends. So I have to have the toe strap adjusted so it doesn't hold my boot in right, and it still slides down off my toe. Probably won't buy Technines again, Ride has the new bomb.com binding.
MFM could make better
these bindings are not the greatest. The toe caps always fall off, which isn't the safest thing when you are hitting a rail or kicker
These bindings are horrible! The first day i rode them the toe strap snapped. I got it fixed and then the heel back broke. All the the screws come out and never stay tight. The metal on the strap clickers bend in and you cant strap in. Dont buy these bindings youll regret it
High quality, but needs some work
No hardware on these have loctite on them, at this point Ive lost a toe cap and a heel strap. They are extremely high quality, they are flexible, have good hold, the heel cup slides forward or back which allows the user to deepen the heel cup. The response is incredible because there is a "freemoving" part of the heelcup that wraps around and is screwed into the base of the toe which translates high back pressure into full binding pressure. These bindings are super light. The ratchets DO slip once they get too tight, but if you hold onto the strap when you tighten it it will get tight enough. I only have the issue on the toe straps and Ive replaced the ladder straps.
-CHECK YOUR HARDWARE/GET LOCTITE
-Split toe capstrap is incredible!
-Well padded baseplates. Tons of Padding
overall Im impressed with the bindings, but I wish the ratchet design was improved, and the hardware was loctite.
Terrible. Like most burton bindings, too many moving parts. Toe strap fell off 3rd time out, had to replace screw. This has happened about 4 times since then. I'm still looking to find a decent pair that will last longer than a season.
do not buy.
read some reviews and people thought they were great. but they only probably reviewed it after trying it out once. after the first run or so, they are gonna start to fall apart due to the "tool-less" adjustments which are alright but it doesn't help it falls apart all the time. the screws are always coming loose so i had to tighten them
once its tighten and not falling apart they are pretty comfortable but after doing some riding, straps coming off and screws loosening i rather not take the risk
I TAKE IT BACK
Alright the last comment i left on these was wrong i had only ridden them a couple times when i posted that but now ive had them for a season i still like them alot but they do break both of my highbacks have broken and the straps are in and out of functioning but they do have a super good warrenty so i get all the parts in for free in 72 hrs or less
DO NOT BUY THESE
Two of my friends and I all bought this binding. Why? we weren't thinking. It was absolute crab since day 1. My friend lost two screws while he was riding. My other friend have to tighten the screws every time after he comes down a mountain. I was the first one to sell this binding. I sold it AS IS. It wasn't even broken.
