Description

Boa-upgraded classic.

Thirty Two basically took their bestselling Lashed boot and added dual Boa coils to it to create the Binary Snowboard Boot. It doesn't matter if you have chicken legs and fat feet, cankles and skinny feet, or anything in between, because the two dials allow you to independently loosen and tighten the upper and lower of the boot so you can get the fit just right for you.

  • Dual Boa coils allow you to independently adjust the upper and lower zones for a custom fit
  • EVA cushioning mellows harsh landings
  • Articulating cuff allows for natural leg flex while still providing support, and 3D tongue reduces overlap between shell and liner
  • Rubber outsole has an aggressive tread pattern that provides traction in slick conditions
  • Level 3 Intuition Ultralon liner is heat-moldable and features dual-density foam for comfort and warmth, internal overlays for optimal heel hold, and external overlays for support and response
  • Inner-ankle lacing system provides superior heel hold for reduced fatigue
  • Level 2 molded PU footbed is comfortable and absorbs impact
  • Aegis anti-microbial treatment prevents foot funk

I really liked this boot when I first bought them. Then I started having issues with the boots feeling like they were loosening during my riding. I finally couldn't take it anymore and had to return them. I downgraded back to laced boots but stuck with Thirty-Two as I really do like the fit and feel of the boot and insert.

This is my second pair of ThirtyTwo's and I love them! They seem to fit true to size, like my other pair. I generally wear a size 12 in hiking boots and dress shoes and wear a 12 here too. This feels more like a performance fit boot vs an all day comfort boot like my last pair. This is not to say they aren't comfortable, because they definitely are, and my feet stay perfectly warm.

The Boa system is great and lets me jump right in for a quick pow sesh. I'm also able to tighten these on the go, which is nice. Having two section of the Boa is great because I like my calf tight and my foot loose.

I used to hear about people's Boas breaking all the time, but I've really beat these up this year and haven't had an issue. They even come with a spare wire in case something happens.

I would recommend this boot to anyone who is looking for a great boot with the Boa system.

These boots are awesome. They have a true mid flex at a 5 out of 10 rated by 32 themselves. The double boa is super fast. They have the best heel hold I have been in and the ankle articulation is awesome. Has a huge amount of grip. These babies can be tightened more than any lace system I have ever had. The are super comfy. They are a little but small to size. I returned mine for a different boot. I just ordered some burton imperials cause i personally prefer a more aggressive flex. But these are awesome all mnt boots and better jib or park. They are totally worth the price.
