Description

Double the Boa.

Since your foot isn’t a uniform four-by-four block, ThirtyTwo decided to incorporate a Triple Zone Lacing System into the Women’s Focus Boa Snowboard Boot.
  • Two Boa dials separately tighten the upper and lower sections of your boot so you can crank down where you need to and go more gently where you dont
  • STI Evolution Foam absorbs shock and eliminates the need for a heavy rubber outsole
  • Articulating Cuff shell construction means a smooth flex
  • Stiff (8) flex for the steeps
  • System G2 cushioning gel compound adds shock-absorption and comfort for all-day riding
  • Interior Ankle Harness holds your heel down for consistent energy transfer from boot to board

broken and wet feet

I bought a pair of these. within months the outer shell was coming off, allowing my feet to get wet. Then the boa cable broke. I can fix that right? WRONG- even my local "authorized dealer" couldn't do it. I tried to contact multiple times and nothing. I have gone back to VANS. Ken Block-head needs to quit playing with toys and get back to work, lest ye find out DC SUCKS AND NO ONE IS BUYING ANYMORE.

warm. i love the high density intuition liner

it was cold today. these boots kept my feet warm. so warm. bordering hot (in a good way, this wont make people whose feet run hot get hot and uncomfortable). it was very nice and my feet were very happy and warm. I just need to work on getting a better ankle hold. this boot had the best ankle hold of all the boots i tried on. I have narrow feet. narrow all around. this isnt a narrow boot. id say this is a medium width boot but can also accommodate wide feet. I wear a size 8 sneaker. I got these in a 7 knowing that the bigger size would be too big. before heat molding my toes were hurting when i didnt bend my knees. they were perfect lengthwise after heat molding. i also didnt ride them until after i heat molded them.

Umm... I was wondering whether there is inner lacing system. I get it from the picture that there is a Velcro strap. Is that the only thing tightening the liner?

No, it should have an internal draw cord to tighten them up, along with the power strap to help hold your foot right where it needs to be

Best focus boa boot?

I'm between these 32s and the DC Mora boots. (or any other focus boa womens' boots) I'm currently wearing the Burton Lodi's and am getting sick of always stopping to tighten them, not to mention my feet fall asleep after about 20 mins. How do the two compare comfort wise? Is the sizing fairly similar? Suggestions, anyone???

ThirtyTwo makes GREAT snowboard boots. Not familiar with DC boots but the 32s (I've owned 2 pair) have fit very true to size. If your foot is falling asleep, sounds like you're over-tightening the internal lace/cord.

Well you will have the option of dual-zoning(triple to 32, but really a dual). Meaning you can adjust the upper seperate from the lower part of your boot. So if you like it tighter around your calf and a little looser around the foot, you can do that. It just gives you the option of tightening them how you want without sacrificing comfort and stability. The Focus Boa is one of the best Boa lacing systems out. They would be more comparable to the Mora's in flex and feel. But I think 32 brings a lot more to the table than DC does with Boa boots. And the sizing is close but not spot on. With 32 they tend to pack out a bit after a little bit of riding. I have a size 12 shoes but rock a 11-12 boot. Some of the liners fit a little differently. Best bet would be to go to your local shop and try a pair on. But you will not be unhappy if you picked these up

Seriously...get these boots!

These boots are amazing. I tried a couple Burton boots (Mint, Emerald) and they sucked. These liners are heat moldable I just took them to my local snow shop. The toe section isn't narrow, so my toes feel good the whole day. They have velcro on the liner that keeps the tongue centered. Now I don't have to worry about my liner getting all twisted to the side after a couple rides down the mountain. The liner is pretty easy to tighten and stays tight the whole day! I'd never tried the BOA but now that I have I will not go back to regular laces. They're super easy to tighten, you can even make last minute tweaks once you're strapped into your bindings! I could not be happier, my search for the perfect boots is over.

Loved them

I demoed these boots for 16 days out at mt.hood for camp and i loved every minute of using them.
There super comfy and easy to put on, only down side boa's strings can break easy sometimes.
I just loved how they fit and felt and it was great not having to unstrap to tighten them just turn the knob.
Great Boots over all!
