Joe Sexton doesn't hesitate to break off some of the gnarliest rails on snow, and his Thirty Two Maven snowboard boot is all the backup he needs. With a soft flex and a low cuff, you'll have all the freedom you need to lock into that switch back lip you've been sweating. Traditional laces and an internal lacing system let you fine-tune the fit for unlimited freedom. The Level 2 liner has plenty of ankle support for sessioning big features, and it's heat-moldable, so they'll feel broken in before you even get them on the hill. Jib rats rejoice, your boot has arrived.

Wasn't able to ride a ton in the boots, but first off they were comfortable!! I really enjoyed how flexy they were. Butters were easier for shifting weight, and I felt like it improved my ability to shift my body more in the air to do a stalefish. I personally really like the skate feel that it has to it. The footbed is a little thinner than most, but not by much so that you can feel more of the board and control when jibbing. What i liked most was the fact that they actually shortened the height of the boot. I really don't know the benefit behind this...sorry, but I liked that my calves aren't being suffocated by the boot, and not to mention the fact that if theres less boot, then theres gotta be less weight to lug around, even though it can't be much weight to begin with. I also like the fact that there are only 2 loops for lacing and not 3. Less time lacing and more time riding even if you just have to adjust them a little here and there on the mountain.
Will these boots be okay on jumps? Or...
Will these boots be okay on jumps? Or strictly just jibs?
These boots are more designed for jibbing due to how soft they are, but they also have good ankle support so they should hold up on jumps just fine. But you will feel the flex if you're not landing perfect every time.
Tim Fran is right. I loved the ankle support they provided. Definitely the flexiest boot Ive owned, but I didn't really think that that had any affect on jumps for me.
