ThirtyTwo designed The Vader Snowboard Boot to be the most technically advanced men's boot in their lineup. This high-performance freestyle/freeride snowboarding boot sets a standard for the future of snowboarding. Featuring System G2 soles, The Vader absorbs peak impacts and won't bottom out or pack out over time, so you can ride safer for longer. ThirtyTwo's new Shield Lacing Cover completely hides and protects the boot's laces from the ankle down—say, “so long” to shredded laces. A ratcheting Tongue Tension Strap provides solid, slip-free top-of-boot tightening. An inner ankle harness along with ThirtyTwo's high-end Level 4 liner provides dependable support, insulation, and comfort. This aggressive mid-stiff boot needs you to dominate the mountain.

Good and Bad
I got my Vaders around january this year, and already there are rips along the side of the boot from rubbing on the binding. I at least thought it would be abit more resistent to that but other than that real good boot nice and comfortable.
The chosen ones!
Wow, these boots look awesome. Purely beautiful to look at. They felt a bit stiff to me (no bad thing), so if you are after a park boot, look elsewhere. Great for anybody who suffers the dreaded heel lift. The liner system really locks in your foot. Beware the 32 sizes system though. I needed to get a bigger size which even though I live in the UK, you guys in SLC sorted out for me. I run these with the ride No4 and the ride Tomcat bindings, The whole set up with these boots is amazing.
