Used this on my 2013 Audi Q7 S-line Prestige.
First of all, the chain is super easy to use once the initial setup/customization is completed for your exact tire size.
The setup could take some time. In my case I had a 295/35-21 with snow & ice tires on and I had to spend about 1 hour trying to make the diameter of the chains big enough. Essentially you remove a bunch of screws using the tools provided to lengthen the chains so they can go over your tires. In addition, you also need to figure out which of the 4 bolts fit your wheel's bolt.
Once the above 'setup' is completed, putting them on and removing them is very easy and straightforward. One of the biggest advantages is that you do not have to be on a flat surface without snow to be able to mount these chains: provided you have enough traction to stay put without the chains, and can go in front or reverse for a few meters once the chains are on to help with the self adjustment.
Throw the chains around the wheel and spread them around as much as possible around the circumference of the tire. You don't have to reach behind the wheel. Just adjust from the front. Once you have most of the chain on the tire (the bottom of the tire will not be on the chain just yet) plug the center nut onto one of your wheel bolts and tighten it to the max. Make sure that the arrow on that nut is pointing to the center of the wheel. Once that is done just use the ratchet to tighten the strap until you see the red line on the strap. The line indicates that the setup is tight enough.
Remember the bottom of the chain is still off the tire. To finish with the alignment and self-centering, just drive the car in either direction, front or back a few times.
To remove, just lift and pull the red lever. The force will release the strap and will loosen the whole setup. Then unscrew the bolt then pull off the chain. Takes about 5 minutes (including putting the chains back into the bag).
Cheap plastic parts

These chains are made with plastic components that become brittle and break in cold temperatures. While the Thule warranty is for 5 years, don't expect them to honor it. When the plastic piece that holds the chain to the wheel broke on mine after using the chains about 6 times, I thought I would be covered under the warranty. When I contacted Thule, their representative denied the claim and informed me that:
"Our technical department has observed that manufacturing defects show up in the first year of usage of a product. If the plastic was defective from the start it would not have lasted 3 years."
I guess this means that their 5-year warranty only covers defects that happen in the first year. For such an expensive product, I would expect that the company would be willing to stand behind their chains. It's bad enough that a critical part of the chains is made of cheap plastic, but I certainly expect better service from Thule.
