Thule Load Strap - 2 Pack
Keep a pair of Thule Load Straps around for securing small loads like a surfboard, paddleboard, or kayak to your roof rack. (It's also useful for strapping unruly passengers on the outside of your vehicle.) Wrap these synthetic straps around your load bars, feed the tail end back through the metal-cam cinch, and crank away until your gear is secure. At nine feet long, you should have enough length to tie down just about anything board-ish, and plenty of things that aren't. Thule even added bumpers to the buckles so your fresh ice-cream paint job won't catch a scratch or ding from these straps.
Bottom Line: Rope wishes it was this bad-ass.

I racked my 1999 Nissan Sentra and the rack looks very good on my little green car! I also bought a Kayak rack to go with it and some of these straps came with the kayak rack. I actually keep these traps in my trunk and use them to tie down stuff on my roof rack such as wood, backpacks that don't fit in my tiny car, etc... These are very useful and can be used without a rack on your car too. simply open your doors, put the strap over your roof and through the car, cinch it tight, and close the doors.
