Tretorn, who knew!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

First pair of Tretorn's and I couldn't have picked a better pair. I wish I would have bought two in different colors. So lightweight feels like you don't even have a shoe on, but yet the insole is awesome and makes them so comfortable! Go with just about anything or any style. Can't comment on the durability yet, but they have lasted 3 1/2 months without any sign of breaking down. Get a pair!

Awesome shoes for the price

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

I got these pretty cheap, like less than half price, and I don't regret it at all. As others have said, it feels like you're walking on nothing, the insole is magic. The canvas is pretty thin, much thinner than a pair of Vans, for example, but they feel pretty well made. There's no support in the fabric of the shoe, it's just kind of floppy, but if you like flip flops, sperrys, etc, it's not really a big deal. I find them incredibly comfortable.

They are a bit long, I typically wear a 7.5 or 8 and like my shoes to run tight, with my toes almost to the end of the toe box. An 8 in these feels a good half size to a size too large, which is consistent with another pair of Tretorns I have. However, it's winter, and wearing them with socks fills them out. Pleased with the fit. I don't find them overly narrow, and I typically find I have a wide foot and low arch. I mean it's definitely more narrow than some shoes, but not enough to feel weird or anything.
Overall, great for the price, not sure I'd pay retail for them though.

Great shoes!

These shoes feel like you are wearing nothing when walking around, really comfortable. I have put these shoes through a lot so far and they are still holding up well. I have used them biking, at the beach, floating and even rafting. I highly recommend these for people who like the minimal feel but need a little protection from the elements.

Not quite sure

I was pretty stoked about these shoes. They looked quite well made, and for some reason I assumed they would be hyper durable. They are super comfortable as I had guessed due to the Swedish massage tech in the foot bed, and dont give too much support which I like as somewhat of bare-foot enthusiast. The downside is that they are not so durable, the stitching along the right side of the left shoe started to rip out. This is a bummer because other than this issue, I would give them an excellent rating for the price. I still havent decided if I'm going to return them, because I really do like them, and I really just want a pair that isn't ripping.

As far as the nitty gritty is concerned I wear a size 12 in most shoes as is true for these. I have slightly wider feet than average and after a few days these broke in to fit nicely.

How narrow would you consider them?

Responded on

They are pretty much in the middle as far as width goes. Not too wide. Not too narrow.
