That is how much I love these boots. They are perfect for the rainy/winter season and stylish to boot (pun intended). The furry insides add a certain level of warmth and the non-slip/non-skid soles are perfect on wet pavement. They are wide so I ordered a size down. They also loosen once broken in. 5 stars for this boot. I've had them for a month now. Use the loop on the back of the boot and hook your index finger in it as you put on the shoe and it will be easier.

Hey just how water proof is the mesh elatic on these bad boys? Also, how warm are they? can i wear 'em in the snow or are they more rain shoes with insulation?

The elastic portion will be coated with a DWR to give it some water resistency but you aren't going to want to be in puddles too deep, since they only go up so far. The Vinter version of the Strala is perfect for Winter. A good pair of non cotton socks and these should keep your feet nice and toasty.
