Go ahead and charge it.
Legendary ripper Kazu Kokubo relies on the Union Charger Snowboard Binding to deliver the response and support he needs whether he's boosting airs in the pipe or going huge in the backcountry. He rides the Charger because it delivers mind-blowing response in an insanely lightweight package, thanks to the carbon highback and CNC machined aluminum heelcup. Ride faster and more confidently knowing that you have total control over your board.
Carbon construction makes the highback insanely light, yet decidedly flex-free, so you'll get lightning-fast response out of your setup, even if you're running a super-stiff board. The heelcup is made with CNC machined aluminum to reduce weight while maintaining strength and stiffness, and the Stage IV Duraflex baseplate makes minimal contact with your board to eliminate the dead zones in the board's flex pattern caused by lesser bindings.
Multi-density EVA in the footbed allows for natural canting to reduce fatigue, and it also absorbs vibrations and shock for a smoother ride. The 3D Direct Connect ankle strap locks your foot down without creating pressure points, and the Open Toe Strap is low-profile and cored-out to wrap around the front of your boot for a comfy and secure fit.

charger keeps charging
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Keep in mind Its different from last years charger binding. It has a different baseplate, which is stiffer but still runs the carbon highback and it has some comfy new straps. IMO the charger just got better, stiffer/more responsive, yet still comfortable and light.
