Description

A high-powered binding for high-powered riding.

The Union Contact Snowboard Binding is designed to minimize binding-to-board contact and deliver improved board feel. Add to that all the features Union plugged into the Contact binding for reduced weight and rapid-fire response, and you’ll taste glory nearly as often as Gigi Rüf. Thanks to reduced dead zones, the Contact Binding is an excellent compliment to any reverse-camber snowboard, and has the strength to last multiple seasons with the guarantee of Union’s lifetime warranty.
  • Premium materials like Dupont Zytel ST (baseplate), extruded anodized aluminum (heelcup), and magnesium (buckles) ensure strength, response, board feel and durability
  • Quick-adjust forward lean gives you on-the-hill ability to adjust forward lean; tool-free size adjustment allows you to add more, or reduce length of toe ramp
  • Injected EVA bushings translate into a lighter weight, improved durability, and allow for true board flex
  • Direct connect cap strap system delivers rapid response and ergonomic comfort without the risk of pinching or pressure points

Love emmmm

First off, just buy them. You dont need to read any reveiws, just pick them up. The flex throughout the strap is unmatched for the parks. I have a Rome Machine 154w to match up with these baby's. Personally I take it all over the place, from jibs, to booters, to trees. These bindings do it all and have no problem hanging with the big boys. Just a super fun and cush binding to have in my arsenal. No pressure points, no loss of feeling, and neverrr uncomfortable. The only thing I wish they would change about this binding is the foam on the high back. They should make them more like the Forces or the Data's when it comes to that. I realize that the tortional flex of the high back is super playful and maybe this is why they built them like that. But for the future, it would be nice to see that change as mine are already shredding at the bottom where the heel rubs in and out as im taking them off and on. Other than that like I said b4.... JUST BUY THEMMMM. Union for lifeeee

GAy

Waste of time and money. The design and minimal contact are amazing so there are no loose screws around the base. But the rest are made cheap and will break if you plan on shredding more than once. Broke strap first day and frankensteined the rest of the way until the base snapped. No extra parts to fix and the company are ******* bags

Best ever

These binders are sick. I ride twice a week and have never had a single problem with em. super comfy with tons of flex. Get these if you know whats best for ya. No regrets.

yo i got a boot that is a size 10, and it aint changin anytime soon so i was wonderin if the M/L will fit me, or will it be too small???? the dude at the shop said that the base plate on the L/XL is too big for my 148 latch key, and that the M/L would work.. just tryna get another opinion.

Responded on

Well my buddy rides a Park Signal 152 with a waist of around 25 cm and he uses a L/XL pair of these bad boys. It was really just because of his foot size(11) and he is rockin the 2008 Vans DK pro boot. It all depends on the waist width on your board. I ride a Rome Machine 154w and obv bec I have bigger feet, I have to ride L/XL bindings. I have this years contacts but in the CMKY print, and lemme tell you that you will not go wrong with these bindings. You should just bring your boots into a shop and see how they fit, because every boot is shaped a lil different. I ride a pair of last years 32 TM2's and there is minimal spacing from my heel cup and cage to my boot. In my opinion they give me just enough space to get down and durrty lol. But it would prob be better to just take them in and see for yourself. But these bindings are sick and you will have mad fun with these

hey i have a 156 wide skate nana and im looking to soften it up a bit will these bindings do it with the minimal base contact
peace

buy any of the union bindings, i sugest the contact if you a big park guy or the force so you can ride anything and everything

Responded on

yeah contacts are sick park specific bindings, if you do a lot of non park stuff forces will be better, either way unions are sick, probably the lightest and most durable of any binding out there

Responded on

fosho go contacts, they rule park but forces r the contacts to all round riding

Great Bindings

Theyre great, i bought the L/xL bindings and i have a size 13 boot and they fit great. its really easy to snap in and undo the bindings and they look great. Only problem i had was that the screw holes dont really match up to my burton board i guess you have to get an adapter.

Responded on

thats burton for ya, trying to force riders into buying their overpriced bindings

If it has the 3D mounting yes, but not if it is an ICS board.

Responded on

Burton have the same size on their discs as Union so they do fit if you have the ICS discs :)

what are good boots to go with these bindings?

Best Answer Responded on

you shouldnt have a problem with any boot fitting the binding. I recommend DC,Thirty Two, and Vans.

Responded on

I have a pair of DC Super Park boots, a pair of Burton Boxer boots, and a pair of 32 Lashed. The best boot to binding combo I found with these were my DC's, they have a skinnier footprint than the other boots and it compliments the binding well.

Lightest bindings on the market? i picked up a pair the other day in my local store and was awstruck.. i picted up a wemons burton co2 and it was twice as light. amazing

Responded on

Are you saying a women's Co2 was twice as light as the contact? First, there is no women's Co2, second those bindings aren't even comparable, different purposes for different riders.

Will these bindings work with a burton board that has ICS?

Responded on

Burton bindings are the only bindings that work with ICS.

Responded on

Actually i just picked up some of these, the base plate disks from a burton ics board DO match union bindings. they mount up fine, you just have to remove a little bit of material on the footbed of the binding. no big deal and a way better binding!

Responded on

forum republic and faction will work on the ICS thing too

Responded on

chris jones is a tard.my freind has a hero and these bindings go fine and work great.better than any burton bindings for anywhere close to a similar price.
