So I just ordered a L/XL set of these from Altrec for 128 dollars, and I was wondering what differences there are between this and the '05 Cadets? (Yes, I STILL use the cadets.) Got to Orange for maximum color steez.

I needed to upgrade binders on the Jamie Lynn Phoenix so I bought these for $100 on sale. I read a couple reviews and they were all positive. A soft binder with the heelback bendable with the hand. Maybe a little too soft for my liking but the feel makes up for it including the rachets. If you like to crank down on your staps you will like these. I tried them on in my living room really cranking on them and they felt good. I got the orange, a little different than the rest of them out there and makes the people who bought their stuff at Sports Authority wish they had bought something nicer. Makes the Lib Tech look even better!!! Look at that deck!! It's so sick bro!!!

Hey, I would go with the L/XL since you would fall at the max of the M/L... better off to be able to adjust the bindings smaller then having them maxed out...

Yo do ya reckon my size 7.5 would go in a s/m? I have a small foot but the sizing chart suggest it could be risky. Who even wears a 3-6 boot wouldn't that be classed as like a youth binding??

i wear a size 9.5 should i get m/l or l/xl?

Either one will work just fine. You'll just have to dial the M/L to the largest setting and L/XL to the smallest setting. However, if you are riding a small board (146 and below) I would go with the M/L to prevent any toe (or heel) drag.

I'm trying to lighten my setup..I have a 159 Lib TRS C2, will the L/XL be too big for this deck or should I get a M/L. Right now I have a size 11 Vans high standard but i'm going to get something lighter in probably a 10.5 as the Vans seem a little big once they were broken in. I like my bindings straps cranked down pretty tight, so what size should I be looking at in these?? Also what are some other lightweight bindings and boots on the market

I have the same boots and when I domoed these, they fit a lil weird. Its mainly because the Lashed are one the widest treads on the market, so in a lot of binders they fit a lil weird. But you will def need a L/XL to fit the 12's. I have a pair of L/XL '09 Contacts and a pair of '10 Forces, and my size 12 Lashed fit well in them. But the cage of the Flites are a lil snugger, so be aware of that. To have a super wide sole to begin with will make the fit a lil off until you tweak them to your liking. Great company tho, and will prob never rock any other binder company other than Union.

Bought these for my Lib Tech. Great bindings. Easy to ratchet on and off. They fit snug and comfortable. Super easy to adjust!
Great Bindings!

Has style, but not too flashy. I have the green ones on a capita stairmaster 144. They have a nice durable flex, and most of all they're light.

Actually, size S/M fits US Men 3-6. M/L fits 6-10 and L/XL fits 9.5-14

I know the l/xl will be fine for size 10.5 boots but I'm afraid they won't fit on my board. I have a 149 cm skate banana with 24.7 waist. I'm afraid the bindings will overhang. What are your opinions?
Kris McGregor
Member since
If you want to get the L/XL they will over hang for sure on ur nanna. You need a waist width of atleast 255(25.5) to make sure you dont drag. If you are rockin 10.5's tho, you are still able to get the M/L. But be aware that these binders run a little on the skinnier side. So if you are rockin a pair of Lashed or a wider treaded boot, it will take a lil messin around to make em fit just right. If you can tho, get the M/L, they will fit the boot better

Im looking at getting these, contacts or asadachi iii's. i ride mostly park and trees.(80% park) i hear the contacts and flites are pretty soft but are they too soft for the big kickers in the park? i like the 60 footers and want a solid binding that can handle them and rails. any suggestions?
Kris McGregor
Member since
Well put it like this... I take my Contacts to trees, steeps, park and pow. I hit booters in the 40-70ft range and I never wash out. If you want a lil stiffer ride but you canstill kill park with, then get the Forces. Me personally, I switch up from my Contacts to my Forces but only when we go to larger resorts. Contacts are my go-to binder and they have never let me down. But like I said if you want a lil stiffer ride, then the Forces are the way to go. But personally the Contacts have worked wonders for me on pretty much any feature. Mind you I ride a positive cambered deck(Rome Machine), so that helps a lot with washing out on bigger kickers. Hope this helps

hey tyler for ur boot size i think the l/xl bindings should be fine. these bindings are killer myy friend has a pair and im jealous of them. hope i helped man

Most def L/XL for 13's. BUTTTT these do run a tad smaller that other in the line up. Just make sure ur not rocking a Lashed or wider treaded boot as they will have problems fitting proper in the cage.

Will L/XL fit on standard boards(waist)? and will my K2 11 size boots fit in L/XL?
Kris McGregor
Member since
They might but it all depends on how wide your waist actually is. The top half of the binder should be fine, but I dunno about the base. I ride a Rome Machine W with a waist of 258 and I have about 2cm clearance on the toe and heel(from base to edge of the board). If your board is something like a 250, you might be ok. But these binders do run a tad smaller than my Contacts and Forces, so you might be able to get away with them. And yes your sizee 11's will fit in the L/XL. Just tweak them down to fit your boot proper. I have a size 12 boot and ride last years Contacts and the binder isnt maxed to the biggest setting, so you will be fine
