Description

Crucial comfort and support for the do-it-all ripper.

The Vans Aura Boa Snowboard Boot knows that being a boot means being the single most important piece of equipment a rider owns. Everything starts at the feet—from turning, to boned-out grabs, to next-level rails tricks. Whatever your riding style may be, all-day comfort, ease-of-use, and clean looks never go out of style.

Dual Boa dials allow you to independently adjust the tightness of the upper and lower zones of the boot so you can easily get the right fit every time. A medium flex is flexible enough for tweaking tricks in the park, yet supportive enough for shredding scary lines., and full instep articulation allows forward flex without breaking down the shell.

The TriFit-X thermal liner is heat-moldable for a custom fit, and has a fleece-lined cuff and flexible toe box for comfort. Triple-density EVA in the footbed provides cushioning where you want it and support where you need it to absorb shock and prevent foot fatigue. UltraCush construction makes the outsole super-light and gives it great rebound, and rubber in high-wear areas increases durability and traction.

  • Double Boa lacing
  • Medium flex
  • Full instep articulation
  • TriFit-X thermal liner
  • V3 footbed
  • ClassicLite outsole

I have 2009/2010 model. I only ride about less than 10 times a year. Other parts of the boots are in really good condition. The front leather membrane is peeling off and the front sole of the right boot is being detached.

The boot fits well for me and is warm and comfortable, unfortunately there is some heel lift, is there anyway to reduce that?

Dave,
If you like the length of the boot and don't want to change the overall fit, the only way to fix heel lift is to increase volume in the heel of the boot either with an insert or thicker socks. I would take a look at some of our insoles from either Sole or Superfeet. Both good brands that make a variety of good options. Maybe start by looking at the Superfeet Delux 3/4 Insole:

I wear a 10 in burton will a Vans 10 be good for me?

Responded on

That will depend a little on the model of Burton boot you are used to wearing. However, my experience is that the sizing is a good match with Burton and Vans. Vans usually being just a tiny bit wider in the mid-foot.
