Description

Enlightened riding bliss.

Turn riding dreams into reality with the Vans Women's Aura Boa Snowboard Boot. This boot features a customizable fit, comfortable design, and medium flex. A Double Boa closure system independently tightens the upper and lower boot zones. Keep the upper zone tweak-friendly with a soft flex and tighten the lower zone for increased heel hold, or simply crank down both reels for the ultimate in response and tightness. Changes in tightness and response are as easy as a simple twist of a knob, allowing your boots to suit any riding style or terrain choice.

A heat-moldable TriFit-X liner has X-Cage reinforcement for suction-like heel hold when you're charging hard. The liner is also equipped with soft foam interior cushioning, bringing all-day comfort and pressure relief to tired feet. The V3 footbed is built from triple-density EVA, and it's perforated to circulate air to active feet. Forefoot and heel impact relief pads mellow rough landings and prevent harsh vibrations from disrupting your flow. The ClassicLite Outsole is specifically designed to withstand wear in high-use areas, and it offers an oversized inverted waffle tread for claw-like grip on treacherous or slippery surfaces.

Fairly stiff boot

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I demo-ed these boots over the Summer at Mt.Hood in Oregon. For summer riding, one is mostly riding park so this boot didnt suit me too well for that, however if i was looking for an all-mountain boot that was stiffer on the medium scale, I would definitely recommend this boot. I favor a softer boot myself, so if you're like me I would suggest going with another pair of vans boots like the Encore or even the Extent if you like a really soft boot.
