For the Vans AV Era 1.5 Skate Shoe, professional skater Anthony Van Engelen revisited his popular AV pro-model shoe and made a few tweaks to make it even more streamlined and durable for skateboarding. An engineered cupsole looks and feels like standard vulc but delivers the longevity that only a cupsole can provide. On the inside, the AV Era 1.5 gets a cushy CMEVA sockliner for shock absorption, and AV also gutted out some of the padding to ensure a closer fit. The addition of herringbone textile also adds a touch of class.
