Ahh snow season. Parks, pipes, pow, and a pair of loose-fit, rockin’-style snowboard pants. Like the Vans Women’s Ava Insulated Pant, for example.

  • Fully taped seams and 10K-rated fabric fight the wet
  • Lightweight insulation (60 grams in the butt and 40 grams in the knees) adds a touch of warmth
  • Boa lacing gate provides easy access to either your Boa or traditional-lace boots
  • Gaiters block snow

Runs large...

I'm sure these are great pants, but they really do run large. I got the XS and when I tried them on, I knew I couldn't wear them because they would never stay on! Even with another layer! I'm about 5'3'' and 118lbs, so I'm not THAT small. I was sad to return them!

I want these so bad but what jacket will look good with it. The matching one will look a bit bright.

just a solid black or white one would be sweet

Great fit, but larger than expected

These pants are beautiful -- got the blue ones with pink stitching. The shape of them is great for girls with curves. I ordered a large, being 5'7" and 150 lbs (of muscle! haha) and they are a bit baggy on me. I could probably use a medium, but I think I'll keep them. They look great anyway and have a very comfy, loose fit.
As for warmth, haven't been out on the hill yet this year, no snow yet.

One important note: The Ultramarine blue is darker than expected and almost violet-y.
