Who freakin' cares if the skate park is full of snow? Grab a shovel and your Vans Men's Chukka Low Winter Shoes and set to skating before your fingers freeze off. Tough 3M Scotchgard-infused pigskin leather puts up with the brutal abuse of the slushy park, and a gusseted tongue will help block debris or wetness from invading these kicks. Cinch down the water-repelling laces (no soggy cotton here) and plant the grippy waffle sole on your board; gods of winter be damned, you're going to shred.

Shoes are very much as described. DWR keeps me nice and dry stomping through slush, and the inverted waffle tread is very grippy, even if things get icy. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the build quality. Vans, I love you guys, but how are you going to pretend that there is $60 of shoe in here? I picked these up for $23 on Whiskey and still think you might be charging a bit more than you should. Either you are using cheap materials or the sole is made with Bataleon, because there is definately a triple base technology shape.
Super solid shoes
These are great. High quality materials, comfy and the inverted waffle sole is nice and grippy. Basically just a Chukka made better. Thinking about getting another pair to have as a backup when these ones get worn out.
