but the color brown is really deceiving. The shoes are actually a really dark brown color so that was a bummer

I am usually a 10.5-11 size shoe, depending on the make. Vans definitely run large...if I were to get 11s my toes would have too much room. I love the shoes though. They are great

really nice, slim shoes, which do indeed go with almost everything.
But skatingwise, these shoes are pretty bad. Although they do have a support arch (mine do at least), your ankle is totally exposed to the wrath of heelflips or other stuff. Also, i don't really like the board feel in the middle. it always feels kinda empty around there. mine lasted about a week or so, so dont try to skate with some limited edition colorway, because theyll go from sleek, cool shoes, to busted open hobo shoes. Unless you use shoegoo, but that makes them look more hoboish.
But they look really good.

they were zombified in two days and destroyed my ankles.

These are the best and go with everything. If you have a narrow foot, go with a smaller size for sure

Is still the new era. Super sick shoes. Comfy, mid width for comfort. Flat though, so I recommend supports unless you like em flat.
