Erik Leines collaborated with Vans to develop the Men's Hi Standard Snowboard Boot, a boot that matches Erik's all-mountain-attack style of riding. This medium-soft boot has enough versatility to spend the morning dropping cliffs at the Bird and the afternoon riding rails in the park. Vans' technically advanced Pro-Flex Snowaffle Air Outsole maximizes traction and turning response without inhibiting flex and feel at the toe. Molded PU midsoles provide the highest level of impact absorption and durability, while a ¾-wrap heelclip stabilizes the foot for increased torsional rigidity. This boot's internal web harness adds an additional level of support and energy transmission. Say good-bye to heel twist and boot slop, say hello to on-demand response. The Trifit center-tongue liners and Checker B EVA footbeds provide antimicrobial protection, integrated arch support, metatarsal impact-relief pads, and high-rebound EVA padding. All that and an affordable price; it's hard to go wrong.

I dont know about what the other guy is talking about.
Ok at first like every boot is a little stiff. but is a normal boot, i didnt have any problems with it. It doesnt have too much response. but is a great boot. and very cheap for their quality, Vans boots last seasons!

I could only keep this boot on for 5 sec, then the pain became too much. I thought I must have forgotten to take out some sort of packing device, but no, that was actually part of the boot! There is a ridge/seam across your toe that sticks out at least 1/2 inch and it cuts right into the top of your foot.
Change me.
