Vans Hi-Standard Snowboard Boot - Women's - 2009

Maybe the boot she helped design is called the Vans Women’s Hi-Standard Snowboard Boot because Hana Beaman knows what chicks with skills expect from their boots. Is it comfort? Yes. Could it also be consistent heel-hold? Yes. It’s pretty much everything inside and out.

  • New Vanslite Snowaffle Sole uses a one-piece, injection- molded EVA midsole and bottom unit for easy flexing of the sole and enhanced board feel
  • Trifit Asym-X Thermal Liner combined with an internal web harness supports your ankle and holds your heel in place
  • Vans custom stainless steel wireframe lace hooks handle hard pulls to get laces tight

Bottom Line: When your standards for gear are higher than your standards for dudes.

Nice..

These are great boots. I'm an instructor so I walk/hike/ride/live in them all winter. Finally no problems with heel lift like I had previously with my DCs. They are super comfortable and durable.
I actually had the opposite experience with sizing and kept going smaller to get proper fit. Remember, boots pack out.

Sizing IS matter

Size too small for real foot.
Girl has 7.5 in common, but that 7.5 more like 7. So you have to check out exact pair offline, before you buy one.

The rest is perfect - quality is as expected, looks nice, delivery was fast. No complain.

Mind sizing!

very happy with these boots, got them for a steal on ebay couple

very happy with these boots, got them for a steal on ebay couple of months back..sooooo comfy! anyway, i already have burton stiletto bindings and these boots do not fit well in the bindings, what would any of you recommend? I think Hanna Beaman herself has Ride Sigma's, they have a good review. I just want to make sure I get a perfect board-binding-boot fit :) Also anyone know where I can get a cheap Saloman Gypsy 2010 snowboard? it is off the hizzle!! :)

sorry for the late response.... i recommend DC Boots if they are comfortable for you. DC Boots are really low profile and should fit into the bindings. Try them on first to see if they are comfortable but if you like them. get em, you won't be dissapointed. Vans are big and bulky

Sweet on Feet

Right out of the box, these were probably the most comfortable things I have ever put on my feet. And I've had a LOT of boots (been riding 3.5 seasons, gone through about 5 pairs of boots) I haven't had a chance to hit the mountain yet, but compared to the fit of 2 burtons, northwaves, 32s, and 5150s, these have been the most comfortable right out of box fit so far. They have real nice support too. Only complaint is that the laces are a bit short to comfortably tie a bow, but that's an easy fix. And they're true to size!
