When it comes to shoes, I choose Vans and for good reason. The Mohikan Mids did not disappoint! I bought the brown color but may have to buy another pair because THEY'RE THAT GOOD! They're sherpa lined, so they're super warm and comfy--perfect for winter/fall. The Suede is soft and oh-so-purdy. AND you've got a vulcanized rubber sole so they don't wear out! All in all, I get compliments on these bad boys whenever they're on my feetsies. Worth the cash. Your feet will love you and you will love your feet.

I really liked these, but ended up returning them because they weren't really practical for snowy winters. The tongue is an open flap, so even when tied there would be the possibility of snow getting in. I think they'd be great for dry winters (with the fleece) and I may end up buying the non-fleece Dachshund for summer. Really sturdy sole - typical of Vans. These are going to last longer than your Minnetonkas for sure.
