Are these seriously decent skate shoes, or were they called skate shoes for style of make sakes? I mean they look gorgeous it's just that it's hard to imagine them being good for more than light cruising...

They're not really a shoe made for skating. more of a fashion piece than anything. They're just called "skate" for styles sake.
