It is just nice to have a shoe that lies somewhere between a sneaker and a brogue. Sporty yet feminine. I went up a half size from my usual, and was very satisfied with the fit. The shoe is skinny and pointy, so I think the half-size jump improved the fit.

Yes, I would say an 8 is your best bet. These tend to fit a bit more snug than classic Vans. And if they don't fit, you can always send them back. Hope that helps!

These are great! But I did have to exchange for a larger size. I normally wear a 9 and need 9.5. The vans slip on socks go well with these too!

they ran a little small. i usually get a size 6 or 5.5 in vans but had to get a 6.5 in these. overall great shoe once i found the right size. they are very stylish and go great with very outfit.
