Description

Reliability and long-lasting support for the dedicated shredder.

Simply put, the Vans V-66 Snowboard Boot is a snowboarder's snowboard boot. Shallow in the vein of gimmicks and gadgets, rich in comfort and long-lasting support. No moving parts, no flashing lights, just quality ingredients and a super-dialed fit.

Traditional lacing is the rider's choice for reliability and a custom fit thanks to stainless steel Double-Posted Gripping lace hooks. Leather in the upper is waterproof and durable, and the Pleasure Cuff flexes at the back of the boot to minimize calf bite and keep you shredding until the lifts stop running. The QuadFit-X Thermal liner is heat-moldable and features an Asymmetrical X-Cage for solid heel hold. UltraCush construction replaces rubber in the OTW Lite outsole to reduce weight without sacrificing traction or durability.

Best Boot I've Ridden Yet

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've ridden DC's Park boot and Thirty Two's Lashed boot, they were good but I always had heel lift and the Thirty Two's didn't last me more than a season before wearing out and losing the cushion. I bought these Vans because of the heel hold closure system, when you tighten the laces around the ankle, it tightens the liner and boot around that area, making for supreme heel hold. Also, they have a velcro power strap around the liner around the mid calve area, keeping them tight all day. I've put just shy of 60 days in them this season, riding various conditions, and working Park Crew at my local resort. They've held up nice and feel just as good as the day I got them. Cushion is amazing, feel is nice, and the leather construction holds up very well. The only complaint I have about them is that snow and ice get stuck on the soles a lot more than any other boot i've had. Not a huge deal but it gets annoying when strapping in. I'm a size 11.5 shoe, and the size 11 boots fit me perfectly. Heat molding is a must, I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Vans for the win!
